Every year, the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game has proven to be one of the most successful high school all-star events in the country when it comes to not only promoting young athletes, but also in helping send players to the college level. That showed on National Signing Day as majority of the seniors that played in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game have signed their NLIs to continue playing football at the collegiate level all the way from the DI level to NAIA.
Gridiron Football takes pride in the fact that through the six years of the All-Star event, there has been a 98% success rate in giving players an opportunity to play at the college level. The 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game has proven to be no different with players from multiple different states signing to continue their playing careers. Team Tigers:
Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA) RB Chad Elzy Jr. Signs With Kentucky State:
The first overall pick for Team Tigers has signed to play college football at Kentucky State. That is Ascension Catholic High School (Donaldsonville, LA) running back Chad Elzy Jr. The Bulldogs’ record setting running back was a big play machine over his high school career with 6,871 all-purpose yards and 101 touchdowns including 9 in one playoff game against Opelousas Catholic his junior year. After a junior campaign in which Elzy was a Gridiron Football Player of the Year candidate with 3,468 all-purpose yards and 50 touchdowns, he followed it up with an equally impressive senior season with 2,200 rushing yards and 38 touchdowns. The two time All-State running back and Class 1A offensive MVP finished his high school prep career as the leading rusher in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game with 11 carries for 69 yards.


Cecilia High School (Cecilia, LA) WR Ellis Stewart Signs With Arkansas Pine Bluff:
The Tigers’ Offensive MVP Ellis Stewart has signed with Arkansas Pine Bluff. It was a season to remember for the Cecilia High School (Cecilia, LA) offensive star as Stewart was a key catalyst for the Bulldogs state championship run by accounting for 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns on offense as a quarterback, running back, and a wide receiver. The Gridiron Football Player of the Year candidate also caught the game winning touchdown pass in the Superdome. Stewart saved his best performance for last in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game catching two touchdown passes on two catches.


Alexandria Senior High School (Alexandria, LA) WR Darius Washington Signs With Louisiana Christian:
Alexandria Senior High School (Alexandria, LA) WR Darius Washington has signed with Louisiana Christian. As one of the top offensive playmakers for the Trojans, Washington led the team all the way to the Division I (Select) State Championship Game with 59 catches for over 1,500 all-purpose yards and 15 touchdowns. Making All-District and All-CenLA as both a receiver and a return specialist, Washington is a big play always waiting to happen. He finished with a catch for 14 yards during the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.


Peabody Magnet High School (Alexandria, LA) QB James Lucas IV Signs With Sterling College:
“Mr. Gridiron” himself James Lucas IV has signed to play college football at Sterling College. The Peabody Magnet High School QB played multiple positions for the Warhorses, but was able to showoff his skills as a signal caller at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game where he completed 4 passes for 51 yards while leading two field goal drives. Lucas was nicknamed Mr. Gridiron as he fully took advantage of Gridiron Football’s platform attending six Elite Camps, the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game as a spectator, and finally this year’s bowl game as a quarterback.


Alexandria High School (Alexandria, LA) WR Jimmie Duncan Signs With Northwestern State:
Darius Washington’s teammate and wide receiver counterpart Jimmie Duncan also inked his signature on National Signing Day as the ASH Trojan wide receiver is taking his talents to Northwestern State University. Also a big time contributor on the Trojans’ state championship team, Duncan had 32 receptions for 557 yards and nine touchdowns. Like Washington, the 5’11, 180 pound receiver is a playmaker that can make electric plays with the ball in his hands. In the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, Duncan finished with 2 catches for 19 yards.


St. Amant High School (St. Amant, LA) CB Caleb Ricks Signs With Idaho:
With his brother Elias Ricks in town for the Super Bowl as he plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, St. Amant High School (St. Amant, LA) CB Caleb Ricks moved his Signing Day up a day to Tuesday as he was going to make a decision between three schools in Idaho, Southeastern, and Hampton College. Making his final decision, Ricks decided to sign with the Idaho Vandals. The long, rangy 6’2, 190 pound cornerback was a shutdown corner for the Gators making 1st Team All-District with 21 tackles, 2 FFs, and 6 TFLs while also not giving up a touchdown the whole season. It was the same in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game as the future Vandal did not give up a reception during the game and was also credited with a QB hurry.


Pope John Paul II High School (Slidell, LA) DE DeReyon Jenkins Jr. Signs With Rice:
Team Tigers Defensive MVP DeReyon Jenkins Jr. has signed to play DI football at Rice. The three time All-District and former All-State selection finished his prep career at Salmen High School and Pope John Paul II High School with 209 tackles, 41 tackles for loss, 19 sacks, five fumble recoveries, and also having scored one defensive touchdown. The 6’4, 225 pound pass rusher has performed at a high level at multiple Gridiron Football Elite Camps and ended his high school football career on an incredibly high note with the game clinching sack on the final play of the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game to secure the win and the team’s Defensive MVP award.


Carencro High School DE Jakayln Roy Signs With Crown College:
Carencro High School DE Jakayln Roy signed to play college football at Crown College. The former Arkansas Monticello commit decided to sign with the Polars after a productive high school career with the Golden Bears. The 1st Team All-District and All-State Honorable Mention finished his senior season with 65 tackles and 7.5 sacks. He also had the second most sacks in a game in program history. The speedy edge rusher finished the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game with 1.5 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, and a quarterback hurry.


East Jefferson High School (Metairie, LA) TE/DE Dorrion Hollins Signs With Pearl River Community College:
The athletic 6’5, 215 pound TE/DE Dorrion Hollins out of East Jefferson High School signed with Pearl River Community College. The All-District selection led the Warriors to their first district championship since 2014 with 15 catches for 300 yards and 4 TDs as a wide receiver/tight end on offense to go along with 55 tackles, 5 sacks, 10 TFLs, 4 FFs, 3 INTs, and 3 fumble recoveries on defense. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, Hollins finished with 1 catch for 8 yards.

Pineville High School (Pineville, LA) S Jacob Miranda Signs With Northwestern State (PWO):
Pineville High School (Pineville, LA) safety Jacob Miranda has signed with Northwestern State as a preferred walk-on with Northwestern State University. The 1st Team All-District and All-CenLa selection finished his productive high school football career with 161 career tackles, 8 PBUs, 4 FFs, 5 FRs, 2 INTs, and 3 TDs. Miranda shined at one of the Gridiron Football Elite Camps over the summer and received an invite to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game where he impacted the game with an interception.


Bunkie High School (Bunkie, LA) QB Dillon Compton Signs With Southern:
Bunkie High School (Bunkie, LA) QB Dillon Compton signed to play college football at Southern. The Panthers quarterback recently led the program to perhaps their best two year run in program history leading them to a 22-3 record including a district championship and a semifinal finish this past year. The Class 3A Offensive MVP and Gridiron Football Player of the Year finalist threw for 2,287 yards and 28 touchdowns while rushing for another 568 yards and 13 touchdowns his senior season. The All-State quarterback accounted for 2,551 yards and 42 touchdowns to season before to account for 5,406 total yards and 83 touchdowns in two seasons. The future Jaguar quarterback finished his prep career with a fine performance in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game completing 3/6 passes for 34 yards and 1 TD plus 37 more yards rushing on 8 carries.


DeRidder High School (DeRidder, LA) WR Uriah Wade Signs With Louisiana Christian:
DeRidder High School WR Uriah Wade has signed to play college football at Louisiana Christian. The former DeRidder quarterback made the move to wide receiver and he thrived at the position for the Dragons as the program’s all-time receiver. It was quite a season to remember for Wade as he broke program records for a season and career for most touchdowns and yards. Making 1st Team All-District, Wade became the first player in program history to have 1,000 yards receiving in a season with 40 catches for 1,011 yards and 11 touchdowns.


McDonogh 35 High School (New Orleans, LA) DE Lyndon Vallery Signs With Southern (Preferred Walk-On):
McDonogh 35 High School (New Orleans, LA) defensive end Lyndon Vallery has signed to play college football at Southern as a preferred walk-on. Playing for one of the best defensive line gurus in Louisiana in Frank Daggs, the All-District edge rusher was one of the most productive sack specialists in the New Orleans metro area with 12 sacks, two blocked punt recoveries, and a safety. Vallery, who is also a track and field and wrestling standout, finished the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game with a tackle and two quarterback hurries.


Grant High School (Dry Prong, LA) LB Landon Fredieu Signs With Louisiana Christian:
Grant High School (Dry Prong, LA) LB Landon Fredieu has signed to play college football with Louisiana Christian. Fredieu was a tackling machine during his prep career with close to 300 stops as a three time All-District selection. This past season, he had 63 total tackles, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions, and one pass deflection including having a 24 tackles game against Montgomery. Fredieu showed how active of a tackler he is at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game pacing the Tigers defense with 3.5 stops.


Alexandria Senior High School (Alexandria, LA) S Jaden Lewis Signs With Evangel University:
Alexandria Senior High School (Alexandria, LA) safety Jaden Lewis signed with Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. Pacing the backend of the Trojans defense, Lewis helped lead the team to an undefeated regular season, a district championship, and an appearance in the Division I (Select) State Championship Game with 68 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, 2 FFs, 5 INTs, and 3 PBUs. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, it looked like Lewis was going to clinch the victory for the Tigers with an interception on a Hail Mary attempt, but it was called back because of a penalty. Still, he was able to show why he was such a good ball hawk over his career.


Woodlawn High School (Baton Rouge, LA) DB Caleb Cooper Signs With Blinn College:
Woodlawn High School (Baton Rouge, LA) defensive back Caleb Cooper has signed to play JUCO with Blinn College. Cooper, who is the younger brother of former Gridiron Football All-American Chris Cooper, was a top defender for the Woodlawn Panthers as not only a 1st Team All-District selection, but also as an All-State Honorable Mention as well. Cooper finished with a tackle in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.


Grant High School (Dry Prong, LA) DB Isaiah McKinney Signs With Louisiana Christian:
Grant High School (Dry Prong, LA) defensive back Isaiah McKinney has signed to play college football with Louisiana Christian. The 2nd Team All-District selection finished his senior season with 63 tackles, 3 TFLs, 4 PBUs, 1 sack, and 4 INTs. The talented defensive back is also a standout in track as he made it to state last year in pole vault. McKinney showcased his skills at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game with an interception in the game for the Tigers.


DeRidder High School (DeRidder, LA) DB Jatari Harris Signs With East Texas Baptist University:
DeRidder High School (DeRidder, LA) defensive back Jatari Harris has signed to play college football at East Texas Baptist University. The Dragons’ 2nd Team All-District defensive back stuffed the stat sheet his senior season finishing with 46 tackles, 4 INTs, and 9 PBUs. Harris finished with a tackle for the Tigers during the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.


Carencro High School (Carencro, LA) LB Brian Amune Jr. Signs With Crown College:
Carencro High School (Carencro, LA) LB Brian Amune Jr. signs with Crown College, which is a D-III college in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota. Amune may have been only 5’10, 180 pounds, but he was a productive linebacker for the Golden Bears as a three time All-District selection and a two time Defensive Player of the Week selection. This past season, Carencro’s tackling machine finished with 110 tackles, 3 TFLs, 2 sacks, 1 PBU, 1 FF, 1 FR, and a blocked kick on defense, but he also got some carries on offense with 75 touches for 339 yards and even a rushing touchdown. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, he finished with a half TFL stopping a play on fourth down for the Tigers.


Grant High School (Dry Prong, LA) LB Gavin Borland Signs With Louisiana Christian:
Grant High School (Dry Prong, LA) linebacker Gavin Borland has signed to play college football at Louisiana Christian. Borland has been a perfect example of a coach’s type of player over his career as he was a two time All-District selection and a Defensive Coaches Award Winner. This past season, Borland had one of his best seasons yet with 63 tackles, 5 TFLs, and 1 sack.


Grant High School (Dry Prong, LA) DL Kourtland Elie Signs With Louisiana Christian:
Grant High School (Dry Prong, LA) defensive lineman Kourtland Elie joins his three other Cougar teammates by signing with Louisiana Christian. All four Cougars played on the defensive side of the football and Elite was the representative on the defensive line. This past season, he had his best season by making 2nd Team All-District with 54 total tackles, 4 TFLs, and 6 sacks. Elie perhaps had his most productive outing in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game with 3 tackles, 1 sack that ended up being an 18 yard loss, and 1.5 TFLs.


Assumption High School (Napoleonville, LA) OL Jace Williams Signs With Arkansas Monticello:
Assumption High School (Napoleonville, LA) offensive lineman Jace Williams has signed to play college football at Arkansas Monticello. Williams has been a mainstay on the offensive line for the Mustangs over his prep career as a four time All-District selection and a two time All-State selection. Williams chose the Boll Weevils over the likes of Millsaps College and Louisiana Christian.

Notre Dame High School (Crowley, LA) OL Landon Mouton Signs With Louisiana Christian:
Notre Dame High School (Crowley, LA) offensive lineman Landon Mouton has signed to play college football at Louisiana Christian. Playing for Hall of Fame head coach Lewis Cook, Mouton was a 1st Team All-District and All-Parish selection. At 6’2, 250 pounds, Mouton is an athletic offensive lineman that can bench press 225 pounds, squat 400 pounds, and can power clean 255 pounds.


Woodlawn High School (Baton Rouge, LA) OL Dwayne Beverly Signs With Blinn College:
Woodlawn High School offensive lineman Dwayne Beverly joins fellow Gridiron Football All-American and Panther teammate by signing with Blinn College. Beverly may only be 5’10, but his lower center of gravity makes it tough for any opposing defensive linemen to get through him. In fact, the two time All-District selection did not give up any sacks his senior season. The two sport star was not only a standout offensive lineman, but he’s also one of the best powerlifters in the state as the number six powerlifter. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, Beverly played on both sides of the football for the Tigers.


Acadiana Christian (Lafayette, LA) OL LJ Hayles Signs With Crown College:
Acadiana Christian Athletics offensive lineman LJ Hayles became the first David Thibodaux STEM Magnet Academy graduate to sign and play college football as he inked his name with Crown College in Crown College, Minnesota. The 6’3, 290 pound 1st Team NFHA All-American was a factor on both lines of scrimmage for the Defenders with 25 pancake blocks on offense to go along with 25 tackles, 9 TFLs, 2 sacks and 2 FFs on defense.


Cecilia High School (Cecilia, LA) OL Ryker Airhart Signs With UPIKE:
Cecilia High School (Cecilia, LA) offensive lineman Ryker Airhart has signed to play college football at UPIKE, which is a NAIA school in Pikeville, Kentucky. The massive 6’6, 330 pound mauler on the offensive line was one of the key catalysts for the Bulldogs’ state championship run, which was their first state title since 1995. Airhart chose UPIKE over the likes of eight other schools to play football at the next level.


Franklinton High School (Franklinton, LA) OL Beau Webb Signs With Nicholls State (Preferred Walk-On):
Franklinton High School (Franklinton, LA) OL Beau Webb has signed to play with the Nicholls State Colonels as a preferred walk-on. The 6’3, 250 pound All-District team captain was a key leader in the Demons’ impressive run to the LHSAA Division II (Non-Select) State Championship Game. Whether it is producing on the field or off the field with a 4.0 GPA in the classroom, Webb can get it done and he chose to play for the Colonels over other offers including Louisiana Christian and Centenary College.


CHEF (Baton Rouge, LA) WR Chase McCall Signs With Centenary College:
CHEF (Baton Rouge, LA) WR Chase McCall has signed to play college football at Centenary College. The Patriots’ big play receiver had a productive season his senior year with 53 catches for over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns. McCall has been one of the best players in the MAIS over his prep career as a three time All-District selection and he showed that he can play against some of the best across the Gulf South in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game when James Lucas connected with him for a 24 yard gain. He also had a couple of kick returns and punt returns for the Tigers.


CHEF (Baton Rouge, LA) WR Kade Whitehead Signs With Centenary College:
CHEF (Baton Rouge, LA) WR Kade Whitehead joins his Patriots teammate Chase McCall by signing to play at Centenary College. Like his teammate, Whitehead was a big offensive playmaker for the Patriots as he finished his senior season with not only 628 receiving yards, but also 611 return yards and nine touchdowns. Whitehead could not play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game because of injury, but he did participate in the practices and was a great supporter for his Tiger teammates.


Team Lions:
Escambia High School (Pensacola, FL) CB Taiylor Bradsher Signs With Peru State:
Escambia High School (Pensacola, FL) CB Taiylor Bradsher has signed to play college football at Peru State, which is a NAIA school in Peru, Nebraska. The 6’1, 170 pounder was a lockdown cornerback for the Gators with 45 tackles, 2 FFs, 3 fumble recoveries, and 4 INTs. Bradsher also won Defensive Back of the Year for the Gators too and chose the Bobcats over North Alabama and North Alabama Capitol. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, the 1st Team All-Area selection finished the contest with two tackles.


Escambia High School (Pensacola, FL) QB Nino Freeman Signs With Hutchinson Community College:
Escambia High School (Pensacola, FL) QB Nino Freeman has signed to play college football at one of the best JUCO programs in the country in Hutchinson Community College. After a couple of seasons at both IMG Academy and Niceville, Freeman came back and finished his senior season with Escambia where he threw for 1,578 yards and 14 touchdowns while rushing for another 312 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, the Gators’ 6’5, 180 pound quarterback received the Team Lions Offensive MVP Award by leading two touchdown drives and finishing the game completing five of 12 passes for 94 yards and one touchdown to two interceptions plus a 20 yard scamper to start the game.


Neville High School (Monroe, LA) RB Jaylon Nichols Signs With North Carolina:
Neville High School (Monroe, LA) RB Jaylon Nichols was in for a big treat when he got a surprise call from the greatest NFL coach of all time in Bill Belichick that he was going to be offered to play for the North Carolina Tar Heels. Nichols accepted the offer and has signed to play at North Carolina. The three star running back and All-District Offensive MVP is coming off a big senior season in which he led the Tigers with 1,417 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns.


Marshall High School (Marshall, TX) WR Raijon Sims Signs With Emporia State:
Marshall High School (Marshall, TX) WR Raijon Sims has signed to play college football with Emporia State, which is a Division II school in Emporia, Kansas. The 5’11, 165 pound two time 1st Team All-District selection had 33 receptions for 695 yards and eight touchdowns along with two carries for 54 yards and a touchdown. Sims also excelled for the Mavericks’ basketball and track and field teams too. The 1st overall pick for the Lions in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game Draft did not disappoint as he had a touchdown catch from 11 yards out on the opening drive from Nino Freeman.


Escambia High School (Pensacola, FL) CB Chrissean Jones Signs With West Alabama:
Escambia High School (Pensacola, FL) CB Chrissean Jones has signed to play at West Alabama, which is a Division II school in Livingston, Alabama. The 1st Team All-District and 2nd Team All-Area selection was another lockdown defensive back for the Gators with 28 tackles, 3 INTs, 5 PBUs, and a fumble recovery. Jones showed what he can do in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game as he made a tackle and then was on the coverage in stopping a two point conversion attempt.


Hawley High School (Hawley, TX) QB Keagan Ables Commits To Hardin-Simmons University:
Hawley High School (Hawley, TX) QB Keagan Ables has committed to play college football at Hardin-Simmons University, which is a Division III college in Abilene, Texas. Playing for his dad Mitch Ables at Hawley, the 6’1, 210 pound All-State quarterback was one of Texas’ most prolific signal callers over the last two seasons. The Gridiron Football Player of the Year finalist threw for 6,923 yards and 80 touchdowns while rushing for 945 yards and 15 scores during that time period.


Jack C Hays High School (Buda, TX) DE Lynford Noriega Signs With Mary Hardin-Baylor:
Jack C Hays High School (Buda, TX) DE Lynford Noriega has signed to play college football with Mary Hardin-Baylor, which is a Division III university in Belton, Texas. The 6’3, 215 pound pass rusher shined bright with 65 total tackles, 28 solo tackles, 12 sacks, 5 forced fumbles and 2 pass deflections. The 1st Team All-District selection averaged 7.2 tackles per game and was ranked #1 in Texas 5A football and 14th overall in the state for sacks on the season. Noriega showed what he could do in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and was in the running for the Lions’ Defensive MVP with 3.5 tackles, a sack, and two quarterback hurries.


Pine High School (Franklinton, LA) WR Demil Garrett Signs With Kilgore College:
Pine High School (Franklinton, LA) WR Demil Garrett signs with Kilgore College, which is a JUCO in Kilgore, Texas. The Raiders’ two way star and Gridiron Football Player of the Year finalist was a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the football making 1st Team All-District at wide receiver and defensive back. Last season, he finished with 73 catches for 1,148 yards and 9 touchdowns on offense as well as 11 Interceptions on defense including an incredible two way performance against Kaplan in the playoffs when he won the Week 12 Gridiron Football Player of the Week award with 7 grabs for 193 yards and 2 TDs on offense to go along with 5 tackles and 3 INTs on defense. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, Garrett was credited with having the biggest offensive play of the game with a 54 yard reception from Nino Freeman.


Warren Easton High School (New Orleans, LA) LB Jamaal LaCaze Jr. Signs With Ottawa University:
Warren Easton High School (New Orleans, LA) LB Jamaal LaCaze Jr. has signed with Ottawa University, which is a NAIA college in Ottawa, Kansas. LaCaze was an All-District contributor on defense and special teams for the Fighting Eagles of Warren Easton. The 5’11, 215 pound linebacker is athletic with 4.6/40 speed and also is strong in the weight room having 365 on bench press, 525 pounds squatting, and 275 pounds power cleaning. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, he had 3 tackles and a half TFL.


Delhi High School (Delhi, LA) DB Jay Wright Signs With Millsaps College:
Delhi High School (Delhi, LA) defensive back Jay Wright has signed with Millsaps College, which is a Division III university in Jackson, Mississippi. The District MVP had a great season on both sides of the football as an All-District offensive and defensive player. Offensively, Wright was a Swiss Army Knife with 324 passing yards and 3 TDs, 836 rushing yards and 11 TDs, and 372 receiving yards and 2 TDs. The 5’8, 152 pound multi-sport athlete also thrived for the program’s basketball and track and field team. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, he finished with 2.5 tackles and what looked like an interception, but it was called back because of penalty.


Jack C. Hays High School (Buda, TX) CB Hayden Jackson Signs With Mary Hardin-Baylor:
Jack C. Hays High School (Buda, TX) cornerback Hayden Jackson will join his Hawks teammate and fellow Gridiron Football All-American Lynford Noriega by signing to play college football at Mary Hardin-Baylor. The 2nd Team All-District cornerback and Academic All-District selection finished his senior season with 29 total tackles, 2 INTs, and 8 PBUs. Belaire High School (Baton Rouge, LA) RB Caleb Joseph has signed to play college football with Centenary College. The Gridiron Football Player of the Year finalist was a bright spot for the Bengals’ offense this season accounting for 1,900 all-purpose yards and 20 touchdowns. The 1st Team All-District running back was also a district champion in track showcasing his versatility and athleticism. He certainly showed that in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game rushing for a hard earned 17 yards on four carries.

Ouachita Christian High School (Monroe, LA) RB Makin Lenard Signs With Ouachita Baptist:
Ouachita Christian High School (Monroe, LA) running back Makin Lenard has signed to play college football at Ouachita Baptist, which is a Division II university in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The Eagles’ speedy running back led Steven Fitzhugh’s squad back to the state championship with 1,500 yards rushing and 24 touchdowns. The 1st Team All-District and All-State running back was also a track standout as a two time All-American and received track offers. Lenard will continue being a two sport athlete for the Tigers at the next level.


Walker High School (Walker, LA) RB Cayden Jones Signs With Southeastern Louisiana University:
Walker High School (Walker, LA) running back Cayden Jones has signed to play college football at Southeastern Louisiana University. The dynamic versatile playmaker from Walker made numerous amount of plays for the Wildcats with 1,800 all-purpose yards and 23 total touchdowns. Wearing the #94 jersey, Jones made it his own as one of the program’s all-time greats as an All-District, All-Parish, All-Metro, All-State, All-Parish Offensive MVP, All-District Offensive MVP, a Gridiron Football Player of the Year finalist, and the school’s all-time leading rusher. After a MVP performance in the Red Stick Bowl, Jones finished his high school career with another nice performance having 21 yards rushing and even a rushing touchdown for the Lions in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.


Teurlings Catholic High School (Lafayette, LA) DB Kaleb Daniels Signs With Arkansas Monticello:
Teurlings Catholic High School (Lafayette, LA) DB Kaleb Daniels has signed to play college football at Arkansas Monticello. The 6’0, 180 pound defensive back was a big hitter and tackler for the Rebels this past season with 72 tackles, 3 TFLs, 5 FFs, and 5 PBUs. The two time 1st Team All-District selection was also a team captain, All-Metro, and an All-State Honorable Mention. After being selected low in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game Draft, Daniels made sure to prove why he should have been drafted much higher as one of the game’s leading tacklers with 4.5 including a big hit on Tigers running back Chad Elzy.

St. Paul’s High School (Covington, LA) WR Stone Celestin has signed to play college football at Trinity University, which is a Division III university located in San Antonio, Texas. The 6’0, 180 pound shifty wide receiver was the leading receiver for the Wolves as a 2nd Team All-District selection. The three year letterman received an invite to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game after a strong performance at one of our Elite Camps. He also chose the Tigers over other offers as well.


Istrouma High School (Baton Rouge, LA) LB Jeremiah Coleman Signs With Southern University:
Istrouma High School (Baton Rouge, LA) linebacker Jeremiah Coleman is staying home and has signed to play college football nearby at Southern University. Coleman was one of the key players in one of the Indians’ best seasons in a long time by making the Quarterfinals with a nine win season. On the defensive side of the football, the 6’0, 195 pound linebacker was the heartbeat as not only a 1st Team All-District selection, but a Defensive MVP as well. The future Jaguar continued to shine in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game with two tackles including a TFL that forced a turnover on downs.


Mangham High School (Mangham, LA) DL Isaiah McFarland Signs With Arkansas Tech:
Mangham High School (Mangham, LA) defensive lineman Isaiah McFarland has signed to play college football at Arkansas Tech, which is a Division II university in Russellville, Arkansas. McFarland was a standout performer for the Dragons over his prep career as a three time All-District and an All-State selection this season. At 6’0, 245 pounds, McFarland showed some nice versatility for a big man by playing linebacker and even running back for Mangham. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, McFarland made a case for being the Defensive MVP of the game with a very impressive performance for the Lions, which included 5.5 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, 1 sack, 1 FF, and 1 FR.


U-High (Baton Rouge, LA) OL Preston Jones Signs With Nicholls State:
U-High (Baton Rouge, LA) OL Preston Jones has signed to play college football at Nicholls State. The 6’4, 290 pound offensive lineman prospect helped make up one of the best offensive lines in the state for the Cubs as a three time All-District and All-Metro selection. The Red Stick Offensive Line MVP had a great senior season as he did not give up any sacks in his final year. The future Colonels offensive lineman was also one of the highest picks in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game Draft as the Lions’ number two overall pick.


Valley View High School (Jonesboro, AR) OL Daniel Cole Signs With Murray State:
Valley View High School (Jonesboro, AR) OL Daniel Cole has signed to play for FCS program Murray State at the next level. Nicknamed “Man Mountan”, it was hard for opposing defensive linemen to get past the 6’6, 330 pound offensive lineman prospect. In his career, the three time conference champion and All-Conference performer has only given up one sack and one holding penalty throughout his whole high school prep career of 34 starts. Cole chose the Racers over Missouri Southern and other offers. Like Preston Jones, Cole was picked early in the Top 10 of the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game Draft.


East Ascension High School (Gonzales, LA) WR Justin Oubre Signs With Louisiana Christian:
East Ascension High School (Gonzales, LA) WR Justin Oubre has signed to play college football with Louisiana Christian. The 1st Team All-District selection was one of the Spartans’ go to receivers with 27 catches for 600 yards and 6 TDs. The ambidextrous and speedy wide receiver was one of the local guys that had a standout week of practice during prep at Lamar Dixon Expo Center for the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.


White Castle High School (White Castle, LA) DL DaMorion Burks Signs With University of Virginia at Lynchburg:
White Castle High School (White Castle, LA) defensive tackle DaMorion Burks has signed to play college football with the University of Virginia at Lynchburg, which is a Division III university. At 6’7, 280 pounds, Burks was one of the giant standouts physically from the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. As a two sport standout on the football field and on the basketball court, he was a two time All-District selection on the football field averaging a sack and a half per game while not giving up a sack all season long on the offensive line.


Barbe High School (Lake Charles, LA) DT Courtlyn Houston Signs With Lamar University:
Barbe High School (Lake Charles, LA) defensive tackle Courtlyn Houston has signed to play college football at DI FCS Lamar University. The 6’2, 300 pound defensive tackle controlled the front of the defense for the Buccaneers and was a 1st Team All-District performer. The powerful defensive tackle was a standout multi-sport athlete for Barbe as a powerlifter and track and field performer. In the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, Houston had a great outing with a tackle and stuffing a lot of holes in the running game as well.
