St. Amant (St. Amant, LA) CB Caleb Ricks has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
At 6’2, 190 pounds, Ricks has excellent genes as the younger brother of former LSU, Alabama and current Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Elias Ricks.
Like his older brother, Caleb is a standout shutdown corner that is long, twitchy, and can shut down one half of the football field. The 1st Team All-District selection was phenomenal for the Gators this past season with 21 tackles, two forced fumbles, six pass breakups, and most impressively, no touchdowns allowed.
The big, athletic defensive back was as reliable as it gets when it comes to locking down a receiver as he followed up an impressive junior year with 42 tackles, two interceptions, a pick six, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and 7 PBUs.
When not playing football, he enjoys going to church, gaming, and hanging out with family.
With a 3.0 GPA, Ricks has received attention from colleges already including official offers from Millsaps and Ouachita Baptist. He will look to add to that number with an impressive showing at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday, December 30th.
