Harrisburg High School DB Andrew England has committed to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

Andrew is a well rounded defensive back that can play a variety of positions at a high level. In particular, he saw a lot of time at both outside corner and as a box safety throughout his senior season, and he exceled at both. At corner, he’s asked to be on an island often in coverage, and he has answered the task time after time. His recovery speed stands out in particular – dude has jets. In the box, his pursuit is extremely impressive. He makes plays in the backfield, something you just don’t see that often from defensive backs. Andrew England is a swiss army knife that will help no matter what position he ends up playing.

His statistical showing this season reflects this performance. He finished with 80 tackles, 7 TFLs, 1 sack, 1 FF, 1 fumble recovery, and a PBU. He’s earned the accolades as an all-conference player both of the past two years. He’s also posted an incredible 3.9 GPA in the classroom, showing the kind of work ethic he has off the field. He’s already got 5 offers, but he can earn even more this weekend with a great showing at the bowl game.

I’m a hard worker. I always go 100% on the field, practice and in games. I’m always hyping up my teammates, making sure my workouts get done. I’m just a hard worker.
