Hays High School (Buda, TX) cornerback Hayden Jackson has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
At 6’0, 175 pounds, Jackson was a lockdown corner for the Hawks as opposing quarterbacks did not try to look towards his way that often. This past season, he earned 2nd Team All-District honors with 29 total tackles (16 solo, 13 assists), and 8 PBUs.
His ability to flip his hips and keep up with some of Texas’ top talented receivers makes him one of the best defensive backs in his area. That has also given him attention Minnesota Vermillion, Schreiner, and Texas Lutheran, which are all schools that offered Jackson to play at the next level.
Not only is Jackson an All-District performer on the football field, but he is an Academic All-District selection as well.
When not playing football, he enjoys going to the gym to train and also playing the playstation with his friends where he even plays the NCAA College Football video game.
Before playing at the next level, Hayden Jackson will have one more opportunity to represent the Hays Hawks along with his teammate Lynford Noriega at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday, December 30th.
“I’m excited to participate and have this opportunity. I look forward to meeting new teammates, coaches, and building new relationships. I want to showcase my talent, get my name out there for potential opportunities and hopefully get an interception or two.”
