Corner High School OL Peyton Mays has joined the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. He’s an athletic guard with a powerful punch, ready to make his presence known. So willing, in fact, that he’s making the trip all the way from Alabama to Memorial Stadium to prove it.

Mays has all the tools needed to be a great lineman at the next level. At 6’2″ 260 lbs, he’s not the biggest lineman in the world, but it’s a combination of size and athleticism that allows him to be an extremely effective interior offensive lineman. He has the lateral agility to stay in front of the defenders, and the power coming from an impressive first punch to put those defenders into the ground.

Mays is an accomplished player as well. He’s one of the senior leaders of the most successful team in his school’s history, and he compiled 49 pancakes this year. He doesn’t have any offers just yet, but he’s looking to seize this opportunity to get the recognition he deserves.

I’m really excited about the opportunity to get to play in the game. I’m from a small town and I’m hoping I can help my town get exposure. I hope that I can display my abilities against kids from other states and show that Alabama is one of the big football states and that we need more recognition.
