A tackling machine with over 300 tackles in his prep career and a true leader of the Grant Cougars in Dry Prong, Louisiana has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. Landon Fredieu is a great representative of the type of player head coach Jarvous Felton wants in their program.
Consistency, leadership, and production is what Fredieu has given the Grant football program. The 6’0, 190 pound linebacker may not be the biggest player on the field, but his high football IQ and flashy sideline to sideline speed has allowed him to become the Cougars’ leading tackler the last couple of seasons. The three time All-District linebacker leaves it all on the line out on the field and is just a playmaker whether it is making tackles on defense or even making splash plays on offense and special teams.
With a 3.1 GPA, Landon Fredieu is excited to showcase his skills that has made him a productive player on a big stage while also measuring himself among other talented athletes at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played on Monday, December 30th at Memorial Stadium.
“It’s a great opportunity just in general. It gives you more time to get a look and then with that, it is going against competition you wouldn’t see every Friday night.”
