McFarland is a top athlete in the state of Louisiana, for at the end of his senior year he was able to gain 5 offers to play college football. McFarland is a force on the defensive side of the ball, for he was a 3x All-State and District star for Mangham High School. McFarland is instantly recognized by his size, strength, and speed. In the weight room McFarland squats 545 pounds along with a 300 pound bench press max. His shuttle time is very quick coming in at a 4.2 time, along with 4.8 40 yard dash. Keep in mind this is as a defensive lineman. These numbers have caught the attention of college coaches and will give him an opportunity to play at the next level.
In the classroom McFarland is a 3.8 GPA student, this goes to prove the type of work ethic that McFarland has. This will allow him to play at the collegiate level at the 5 schools that have offered him. Which ever school that is fortunate to get Isaiah will get a hard worker in the classroom, as well as a hard worker on the field.
