East Jefferson High School TE Dorrion Hollins has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
The 6’5, 205 pound target is a big, athletic physical specimen that has a lot of potential. His raw blend of size, speed, and ball skills made him a force to be reckoned with not only on offense, but on defense as well.
This season, Hollins led the Warriors to their first district championship since 2014 with 15 catches for 300 yards and 4 TDs on offense to go with 55 total tackles, 5 sacks, 10 TFLs, 4 FFs, 3 INTs, and 3 fumble recoveries.
With a 3.5 GPA, the All-District selection’s athleticism has led to offers from different colleges including Langston University, Pearl River Community College, Butler Community College, North Minnesota Vermilion, and Louisiana Christian.
When not playing football Dorrion Hollins enjoys hanging out with friends and playing basketball. He will have one more opportunity to play and represent the Warriors football team at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played on Monday, December 30th at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
“My thoughts about playing in this game is first and foremost, I want to thank the man above for blessing me with this opportunity to play in this game. I’m very grateful to continue playing the game I love. I’m grateful to continue playing the game I love. I’m grateful to everyone around me pushing me to be the best I can be. What I want to accomplish in this game is to get my name out there around the country. I want everyone that is playing in this game to make me better as a person and as a player. Most importantly, get me ready for the next level. Some of these guys might be three or four stars so it will definitely be a great opportunity to play with these guys and an opportunity to get more exposure as well.”
