From the state of Arkansas, Valley View High School offensive lineman Daniel Cole has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
At 6’6, 317 pounds, Cole, who is nicknamed “Man Mountain”, has the frame of your prototypical big time college offensive lineman and despite still being new to the game, has tremendous upside.
Cole has dominated opposing competition the last couple of years since moving from junior varsity. Over 34 career starts, he accomplished a whole lot including being named All-Conference his senior season while also being a three time conference champion. What is most impressive is how nobody was able to get past the towering offensive linemen as he only gave up one sack and one holding penalty throughout his career.
His combination of size, strength, and athleticism has drawn the attention of multiple schools including offers from Arkansas Tech, Fort Hayes State University, and a preferred walk-on from Memphis. Recently, Cole made his college decision to commit to Missouri Southern.
Before suiting up for the Lions at the next level, Daniel Cole will have one more chance to show off his skills at the upcoming 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
“It means a lot to me as I just wanted to play football since I was a kid and just a couple of years ago, I was a JV player with little success and skill. All I want to accomplish is gaining more experience as a player and more opportunities to play football in college.”
