Notre Dame High School (Crowley, LA) offensive lineman Landon Mouton has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game representing the Notre Dame Pioneers.
Mouton is a senior 6-foot-2, 250-pound offensive lineman who was one of the best pieces in their offense, helping lead them to a 6-5 season and claiming the title as the District 6-2A champions. Mouton’s perfomance over the course of the season would earn him 1st team All-District and 1st team All-Parish honors. He is also committed to playing at the next level, attending Louisiana Christian University. After earning a first round bye in the playoffs, the Pioneers would come up short vs LCA in the second round, bringing an end to their season.
Mouton is very dedicated in the weight room as well with personal highs of 225 on bench press, 400 on squat and 255 on power clean. But watching his film, you can tell that he is very agile and quick on his feet, also sporting a 5.2 40-yard dash. Mouton is looking forward to playing in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game because he gets another opportunity to play the game he loves and put his name on the map before heading off to LCU. The game will be played at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday, December 30th.
