The Franklinton Demons are having one of their best seasons in program history with a 9-1 record and also possessing the number one seed in the LHSAA Division I (Non-Select) Playoffs. A lot of credit goes skill position players on the Demons’ offense including Jacob Crain, Connor Magee, and Sy Austin, but at the same time, a lot of the credit also deserves to go to our next Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game Commit in offensive lineman Beau Webb.
At 6’3, 250 pounds, Webb might not be the biggest lineman, but he makes up for it with his frame and athleticism. The Demons’ All-District offensive lineman does a great job of moving his feet and never gives up on the whistle. When it comes to finishing blocks and ending plays on top of an opposing defensive lineman, he does a great job of doing that. His ability to both pass protect and open holes in the running game has made it possible for a Demons offense that is averaging 40 points per game.
Entering the season, Head Coach Nick Saltaformaggio has praised Webb’s efforts in the spring and that has carried him to an impressive senior season, which is still going on.
With a 4.0 GPA and a 28 on the ACT, Beau Webb has received an offer to play for Louisiana Christian and will get another chance to impress college coaches at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played on Monday, December 30th at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
“I am excited to be able to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and look forward to competing with some of the best players in the state and in the country.”
