Playing for CHEF (Christian Home Educators Fellowship), which is a homeschooling association that sponsors many homeschool athletes, Chase McCall will get his chance to show off his skills at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
At 6’1, 155 pounds, McCall is a hidden gem in the Baton Rouge area. Repping the Patriots, McCall was a proven game changer throughout his high school. With length and 4.54/40 speed, he used that deep ball ability and breakaway speed to his advantage as a three time All-District wide receiver.
This past season, McCall once again showed off his consistency that has made him a weapon for the team during his senior campaign. He was quite productive with 53 catches for 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Competing against majority teams in Louisiana that are not in the LHSAA and teams in Mississippi for the MAIS League, McCall will get the opportunity to play in this year’s Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played on Monday, December 30th at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Having already proven his ability at the high school level and with also a 3.6 GPA and a 23 on his ACT, Chase McCall is eagerly waiting to show college coaches that he can play at the next level.
“It’s an honor to be acknowledged and offered to play in a game like that. It’s something I dreamed about for a long time. I’m hoping to use this opportunity to show coaches my talents and give myself more opportunities in the future. I’ve put in a lot of work to become a successful football player and I’m hoping to show that to the coaches watching.”
