East Ascension WR Justin Oubre has committed to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. He is a speedy weapon to add to the offensive arsenal the bowl game has to offer.
Justin is a fast WR, but his quickness is actually more impressive. His acceleration is top notch, allowing him to change directions on a dime, which leads to him being a crisp route runner. His ability to create space and separation between himself and the defender is magical, and once he has the ball in his hands, that quickness allows him to maximize the yards he gains after the catch.
It isn’t just his quickness and speed, this man is a complete package at WR. He’s undersized at 6’0″ 155 lbs, but he is so good at everything that he was still able to play outside at the high school level. He has great hands and will put in all that he can to get the ball in a contested catch situation. That effort gives him the propensity for the occasional circus catch, as he contorts his body and miraculously gets his feet down to complete the catch for a monumental gain for his team. He’s also great at tracking the ball, which adds an additional layer to the threat he poses to the defense. He finished the season with 27 catches, over 600 yards receiving, and 6 TDs. Justin doesn’t have any offers yet, but there is no better opportunity to earn one than at the bowl game this weekend.
