DITR: Sharone Finister Jr.

Sharone Finister Jr. is a class of 22 quarterback and free safety for Ferriday High School. He is 6’2, weighs 165 pounds, and his 40 time 4.56. He has 2 offers from Louisiana College and Benedictine University. Sharone is an aggressive defender and knows how to pressure the receiver he is covering as well as attacking the ball. He is a fast and athletic player who is also versatile.

Tell me a little bit about yourself.

I’m from Jonesville, LA. I like to spend time with family and play football. I also like to play video games.

How did you start playing football?

I started playing playing flag football in Jonesville. A couple years later I played contact where Vidalia, GA. 

What is your main goal for this season?

Finish off the season strong.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned from football?

You only get out what you put in.

What is a long term achievement you want to accomplish?

I want to make it to the NFL and have a good 4 years in college.

What keeps you motivated?

My coaches and my dad.

Who would you compare your style of play to and why?

Eli Ricks because we’re both long range corners that can be effective in pressing and being with the receiver down the field and being able to attack the ball

What do you think sets you apart from other players?

My style of play and the energy I bring to the game. I can play almost any position on the field.
