Check out this SS from the class of 2028, Julius Brown! Julius is an outgoing, exceptional athlete weighing in at 180 lbs and standing at 5’10. Throughout his football journey, he has managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA and made the Principles’ list in his second year. Julius has a max bench of 245 lbs, a squat of 405 lbs, and a clean of 250 lbs. When it comes to stats and awards, Julius has plenty. He previously received awards for 1st DB and 2nd Team All-District WR! For stats, he has been seen making over 50 catches, 100+ tackles, has had 3 interceptions, 10 touchdowns, and over 800 receiving yards! These accomplishments have put Julius into Gridiron’s Top 300!

What is your biggest strength?

“I love to compete.”

What skill are you best at?

“I have a good attention to detail.”

What does a typical training day look like?

“One day on, one day off, go work out, and then do agility work.”

How do you balance your personal life and sports?

“I just go with the flow and make sure I work every day.”

What is your biggest motivator?

“My father, I am constantly trying to be better than him.”

What has been your favorite memory of football?

“Playing in the semi finals.”

What are your goals in and outside of football?

“To make it to the D1 level, then the NFL, I also really want to be a PT.”

Why do you play football?

“It takes my mind off everything else.”

What are you most proud of in your journey?

“My D1 offer from Memphis.”

Has there been a difficult time or injury you have overcome?

“I had a concussion in the rivalry game. I made sure to take baby steps getting back into it.”

How do you handle the intensity and expectations that come with playing at this higher level?

“I make sure I learn from it. Everything has a purpose.”

What makes you stand out from others?

“I’m going to compete regardless of who’s in front of me.”

Why should you be recruited?

“I’m great academically, and I take care of my stuff. I do the work.”

How do you measure your own success?

“It’s never, I’m doing good, but what can I do better. How can I level up?”

What legacy do you hope to leave in your sport?

“I want to be one of the most dominant strong safeties.”

If you could give your younger self advice, what would you say?

“Don’t take everything personally. Everything has a reason.”
