Jaedon Sandoval is a dynamic athlete out of Rosepine High School. He is in the class of 2028, and not only does he play football, but he does power-lifting as well. He is a versatile athlete who makes an impact in multiple phases of the game, especially as a dangerous kick returner and return specialist. Sandoval earned a Special Teams Award in 2023, showing his ability to change field position and create big plays. Additionaly, he also received Honorable Mention at defensive back in both 2024 and 2025, proving he can contribute on the defensive side as well. Also off the field, he was named All-Parish in power-lifting in 2024, highlighting his strength and work ethic. Jaedon also handles his business in the classroom maintaining a 3.7 GPA. His quickness, toughness, and all-around athleticism make him a reliable weapon for Rosepine. We at Gridiron Football wish Jaedon the best!

What made you start playing football?
What made me start playing was the training me and my grandpa put into it. I remember working with him when I was younger and it helped me in training and it helped me be a better man and person.
What did you like about the camp?
I liked how they taught us how to break down our routes and catch over the shoulder passes.
Would you rather play offense or defense?
Offense, because it is more of my skill-set. I have better footwork and I read better on offense than I do on defense.
What motivates you to keep working hard?
My mom .
How did it feel competing with other players at the camp?
It felt good it was good competition, I felt where I belonged. With other kids who was also hungry it just made me want to compete.
What is a drill that you can improve on (from camp)?
Definitely my back pedaling.
What goals do you have for your upcoming season?
To just improve in all my stats, like if I get one touchdown I just wanna improve and get more. I want to strive for the best,
How does camps like this get help you get better for the season?
It allows me to see where I’m at and see where I need to be to get college offers.
What is the biggest thing you learned from the camp?
Hand eye coordination.
What does being a good teammate mean to you?
It is important because if one of my teammates is not having a good day it separates the whole team. It is important to be there for everybody on the same team as you.
