Fisher High School (Lafitte, LA) safety Jaiven Lewis has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
The 5’9, 155 pound defensive back is not afraid of contact as he flies all over the field especially when helping out in the run game, but at the same time, he can play centerfield and make plays on the football.
As a 1st Team All-District selection, Lewis led the Gators to their first playoff appearance since 2016 with a 6-5 record with 59 tackles, 4 INTs, 2 TFLs, 19 PBUs, 1 FF, and 1 INT returned for a touchdown.
Lewis’ season was highlighted by a dominant Week 9 performance that earned him Gridiron Football Player of the Week honors with 4 solo tackles, 3 assisted tackles, 2 PBUs, and 2 interceptions including a 76 yard pick six in what was a big 33-26 win over Young Audiences Charter.
With a 2.8 GPA, Jaiven Lewis has received four college offers to play football at the next level, but he is looking forward to showcase more of his skills in front of college coaches at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played on Monday, December 30th at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
