Delta Charter School (Ferriday, La.) athlete Juvari Singleton has committed to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl.
“It truly means a lot for me having the opportunity to play in The Gridiron Game. To me it is like me getting chose for an NFL draft, because you get to compete with a ton of great athletes and truly show off your talent as to why they chose you.”
Although he played quarterback at Delta Charter, he has been one of the most prolific rushers in the state the past few seasons and will play running back in the All-American game. This past season, Singleton was chosen as the District 4-1A offensive most valuable player and led his team to the Storm to their first district title in the program’s history.
Singleton currently has one scholarship offer from Louisiana Christian University.
Singleton models himself after Tennessee Titans All-Pro running back Derrick Henry because they both share the same aggression running the ball.
