Vermillion Catholic High School (Abbeville, La.) defensive back Ty Williams has committed to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl.
This past season, Williams was a first-team All-State selection and was the District 7-1A Defensive Most Valuable Player.
“It gives me a chance to meet new people while getting another opportunity to continue my playing and academic career. Also for my brother that’s a running back he tore his ACL in October if not he’d be here.”
Former Washington Commanders safety Sean Taylor is the player he likes to emulate because his football instinct was high and Williams likes to play with a high motor and loves contact.
After his academic and playing days are over, he wants to either coach football or work in a profession where he can help mentor people.
An interesting fact about Williams is that he is a triplet.
