Independence High School running back Michi Bean has committed to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played on Saturday, December 30th at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

In his career, Bean has recorded a total of 3,456 all-purpose yards and 36 total touchdowns. Although he hasn’t received a scholarship offer yet, the three time 1st Team All-District selection did receive a game invite from ULL.
Bean’s favorite player is Zay Flowers because of his sped and agility. The three sport athlete wants to receive a degree in kinesiology and become a football coach when his playing days are over.
