Rising Star, DB Jayden Jones, GEO Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA)

Jayden Jones is a 4’11, 90lb. defensive back from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attends GEO Prep Academy. He recently participated in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game for Junior High. Jayden is a very intriguing student athlete both on and off the field. He has a GPA of a 3.30, a 5.3/40 speed, and throughout his football career he has averaged 20 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 4 pass break ups.

What are some things you have overcome in life?

Being the smallest person on the field. The size of my opponents doesn’t bother me.

What are your biggest accomplishments?

Being selected and participating in the All-American football Bowl Game.

What player do you compare yourself to and why?

I compare myself to Jalen Ramsey because he’s good at tackling.

What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?

I want to try and own multiple businesses.

What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?

I like everything about football. Football helps me build confidence and teaches me how to be a leader.

What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?

I like to help people in my community.

What did it mean to be able and play in the Gridiron football Bowl game?

It felt humble and thankful to be selected to play in the game.

What is your dream school to play for in college?

University of Oregon or LSU
