BREAKING NEWS: Kenner Discovery High School (Kenner, LA) WR Lance Rumbelow Commits To The Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game

Kenner Discovery High School (Kenner, LA) wide receiver Lance Rumbelow has committed to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. At 5’11, 180 pounds, Rumbelow has been a reliable wide receiver and special teams player for head coach PJ Sprunk and the Swamp Owls.

Rumbelow was always a threat to score for the Swamp Owls whenever he touched the football. Although his volume was not big, his production was as during his senior season, he had 14 catches for 365 yards and six touchdowns. That is an average over 26 yards per catch. Rumbelow’s blazing speed and ability to create separation as a route runner translated smoothly as a return specialist. Not only was he a 1st Team All-District receiver, but he also averaged a staggering 30 yards per punt return and 29 yards per kick return. Accounting for over 1,000 yards of all-purpose yards, he also had six punt returns for 181 yards and two touchdowns to go with 19 returns for 564 yards.

As also a 1st Team All-District soccer player, he has made a nice transition to the football field where he has unlocked a lot of potential. He has stopped playing soccer to take on football at the next level. When Rumbelow is done playing football, he plans on having a career in logistics and supply chain management.
