BREAKING NEWS: Walker High School (La.) WR Jamari Evans has committed to the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl!

All-State wide receiver Jamari Evans of Walker High School (La.) has committed to play in the fifth annual Gridiron Football All-American Bowl.

In his senior season, Evans had 1,033 yards and 14 touchdowns . He also averaged 17 yards per catch. For his efforts, Evans was a first-team 5A All-State selection was the most valuable player in both his district and Livingston Parish.

“Having one last opportunity to play high school football Means a lot for me. Also playing amongst other great talents and sharing the same field is an amazing experience to look forward to. I’m just thankful and excited to play the sport I love.”

Because of his breakout season, he has gained interest from Grambling and Jacksonville State.

A player he likes to mold his game after is Houston Texas wide receiver Tank Dell due to their similar skill sets.

“He’s a small receiver that plays big and wins big every time.”

During his downtime, Evans likes to bass fish. After Evans graduates from college, he wants to get into the real estate industry.
