Slidell High School (Slidell, LA) WR Ramelo Howard has committed to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
Ramelo Howard is a YAC monster out at WR who is ready to explode once he gets his hands on the ball. He’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing runners with a ball in his hands in the entire bowl game. The way he moves – the long strides, the cuts, the speed – is an absolute joy to witness. A lot of his production comes from shorter routes where he’s just given space and the ball and he just works his magic. He’s on the lighter side at 5’11” 165 lbs, but that just allows him to move at a speed that few others can (specifically, a 4.46 40 yard dash). On top of all that, he can do a lot in the deeper passing game as well. His ball tracking ability is really impressive, making him a weapon in the deep area of the field.
All of this combines to give a player that is ready to take the next step and go to the next level. He has plenty of experience, being a 3 year starter and lettermen for his team. He doesn’t have any offers yet, but tomorrow is his chance to make his mark on the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl.
It feels great. To be invited to this feels really special. It feels great to end it all with this, to get another opportunity to play.
