Luke Landry is a mobile deadeye quarterback for Catholic High-New Iberia. Luke has the ability to find his way out of the pocket and deliver accurate passes to his receivers. Luke relates his style of play to Joe Burrow, for both have the ability to stay composed and make plays for their team. Luke explained to me that he fell in love with the game due to his family, he grew up around the game since a young age. Luke is a multi-sport athlete, for he also excels on the baseball field. He was an All-District outfielder his Sophomore and Junior year of high school. Such awards prove the type of athlete that Luke is, for he is able to excel at both football and baseball. Luke challenges himself to be All-State this year in football and help lead his team to a State Championship. In his match-up against Northlake Christian, Luke would throw for 326 passing yards, along with 4 touchdowns. Luke was not done, he would also rush for 2 touchdowns to complete the night. Luke has already started receiving offers, he explained that he has offers at the D2, D3, and JUCO levels. I expect Luke to continue to receive more offers. Luke will provide a school great talent and a hard worker, dedicated to commit time and effort to perfect his craft and help his team win.
