Gridiron Football All-Americans Sign With Colleges On National Signing Day

Ascension Episcopal High School linebacker Hunter Fontenot is one of many players in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game to commit or sign with a college.

Over the last couple years, the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game has given athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents for college coaches, and once again, the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game did certainly that. Over the years, this bowl game has had a high rate of sending players to the next level and it has also done that this year with the majority of this year’s players entering or leaving the game with college offers. After their hard work and playing in this year’s bowl game, it is time for these Gridiron Football All-Americans to take their talents to the next level.

Here is the list of players that have either committed or signed with colleges yesterday on National Signing Day.

West Team:

Central High School (B.R.) DB Kameron Triplett Signs With Louisiana Christian:

Central High School defensive back Kameron Triplett had one of the best performances in this year’s Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and deservingly so, signed with Louisiana Christian yesterday. As one of the game’s first signees, Triplett was ready for the moment as he had two tackles, a PBU, and two key interceptions including the game winning interception for the West team.

Elton High School RB Damarcus Jack Signs With Carolina Christian College:

Elton High School’s bruising running back Damarcus Jack was a workhorse for the Indians this season. At 6’2, 230 pounds, Jack pounded his way to 1st Team All-District honors with 1,400 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns while also ending the program’s 21 game losing streak and leading the team to a .500 season. In the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, Jack picked up 19 tough yards on the ground. Yesterday, he signed with Carolina Christian College to continue his college career.

Westminster Christian Academy TE Cameron Randell Commits to Louisiana Christian:

One of a couple of tight ends to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, Westminster Christian Academy tight end Cameron Randell has committed to play for Louisiana Christian. At 6’3, 210 pounds, Cameron is an athletic target and thrives the most lining up in the slot as a receiver playing for the Crusaders. Now, he will get the chance to showcase his talents at the next level playing in Pineville.

East Jefferson High School DB Jalen Guillard Signs With Arkansas Monticello:

East Jefferson High School defensive back Jalen Guillard was one of three defensive players to record an interception in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and yesterday, he signed with Arkansas Monticello. The 1st Team All-District selection was one of the top players for the East Jefferson Warriors and led the team to the Class 5A Playoffs. After playing mostly receiver the first couple of seasons on offense, Jalen got the reins as the starting quarterback and showed off his incredible athleticism as a dual threat. Still, Jalen got to play his more natural position this season, which is in the secondary. Last season, he had 26 tackles, 4 INTs including 1 returned for a TD, 5 PBUs, 3 blocked punts, and a blocked field goal attempt.

St. Edmund/Blessed Trinity DE Kieran Davis Signs With East Carolina:

Kieran Davis was one of the biggest names to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game this season as he signed with East Carolina a week prior to the bowl game. The bowl game was a great opportunity to play for his former head coach James Shiver after playing at Blessed Trinity High School in Georgia the last couple of years. After becoming a Max Preps All-American as a running back, Davis made the move to defensive end as he had 77 tackles, nine sacks, six forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 2021. In the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, Davis finished with 12 rushing yards on offense while creating havoc on defense with five tackles, one forced fumble, two TFLs, and three quarterback hurries.

Cecilia High School ATH Germonie Davis Signs With Trinity Valley Community College:

Cecilia High School athlete Germonie Davis was one of the most versatile playmakers in the state this season. As an electrifying playmaker for the Bulldogs, Davis has accounted for 2,100 receiving yards, 1,110 rushing yards, 723 passing yards, 1,428 returning yards, and 51 total touchdowns. After playing in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game where he had two catches. Davis will take his versatility to Trinity Valley Community College.

Ascension Episcopal High School LB Hunter Fontenot Signs With Centenary College:

Ascension Episcopal High School linebacker Hunter Fontenot was one of the top linebackers in the Acadiana area and now, he has signed to play college football with Centenary College. After having  91 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries his junior season, Fontenot wrapped up his prep career with the Blue Gators on a high note this season with 139 tackles, 21 for loss 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumble, a punt block scoop and score as well as making the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game where he had multiple tackles.

Episcopal High School OL Cale Buhler Signs With Huntingdon College:

Episcopal High School offensive lineman Cale Buhler has been one of the mainstays for head coach Travis Bourgeois and the Knights’ successful three year run that included two undefeated regular seasons and only one regular season loss in three years. The 1st Team All-District and All-State Honorable Mention was an anchor for the Knights on both sides of the football and earned his way into playing in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. Now, he is going to continue his playing career at Huntingdon College.

Northwest High School OL Wesley Moore Signs With Henderson State:

Northwest High School offensive lineman Wesley Moore has been a great player for the Raiders under head coach Chris Edwards as he is a two-time 2nd Team All-District selection, a 1st Team All-District selection, and a 1st Team All-Parish Selection. At 6’4, 250 pounds, Moore has the frame to put on weight while continuing to keep his long, athletic frame. Reminiscent of former New Orleans Saints All-Pro offensive tackle Kyle Turley, Henderson State is certainly getting themselves a player that will be a great protector on the offensive line.

Patterson High School QB Caylon Davis Signs With Lane College:

One of the winning quarterbacks from the West Team has signed with a college, and that is Patterson High School QB Caylon Davis. Davis, who led the entire state of Louisiana in passing after throwing for 3,367 yards and 35 touchdowns while also showing off his running ability with 14 rushing scores to account for 49 total touchdowns this season, was one of the key players in the West Team’s comeback over the East Team by throwing for 60 yards and a touchdown and also rushing for another 19 yards and a second touchdown on the ground. Now, the state’s leading passer will continue his playing days at Lane College.

Avoyelles High School Defensive Lineman Carlos Bazert Jr.:

One of the greatest football players to ever play for Avoyelles High School in Carlos Bazert Jr. has made his college decision by signing with Butler Community College. At 6’2, 253 pounds, Bazert made his living as a bruising running back for the Mustangs with 1,700 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns this past season. He is also the program’s all-time leading rusher with 5,159 yards and 71 rushing touchdowns. He made the switch to defensive line full-time in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and thrived by making it a living nightmare for the East Team with 3 tackles, 2 TFLs, and a whopping 6 QB hurries.

Sterlington High School WR John Barr Signs With ULM:

Sterlington High School wide receiver John Barr was one of the best at his position in North Louisiana and helped the Panthers achieve a state championship last season. Over the last three seasons, the big 6’3, 217 pound receiver recorded 57 receptions for 1,516 yards (26.6 avg.) and 23 touchdowns. Now, he will stay local and play for the ULM Warhawks.

Sophie B. Wright High School DB Donte Glass Signs With Northwestern State:

Sophie B. Wright High School two-way star Donte Glass has signed to play in the Southland Conference at Northwestern State. The All-District defensive back also played receiver for the Warriors and was one of the key players to the Warriors having a winning season and had a good outing at the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

Vidalia High School WR Sema’J Hayes Signs With Louisiana Christian:

The player that went viral with his incredible touchdown grab in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game has signed with Louisiana Christian in Vidalia’s Sema’J Hayes. Hayes, who played quarterback for the Vikings, showed off his skills at the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game in one of his first games ever playing receiver with 4 catches for 32 yards and 2 TDs including 1 TD that proved to be the game winner for the West and the other TD making “You Got Mossed” on ESPN’s NFL Countdown.  As a quarterback, he completed 116 of 212 passes for 1,641 yards and 18 touchdowns while also carrying the football 99 times for 421 yards and 12 more touchdowns.

Gueydan High School OL Micah Marceaux Signs With Louisiana Christian:

Gueydan High School two sport standout Micah Marceaux has been a great player for the Bears on the gridiron and the diamond, but he is going to take his football talents to play at Louisiana Christian. The 1st Team All-District selection helped pave the way for the West running game and helped the West Team win the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

Franklin Parish High School QB Bryce Curtis Commits to Louisiana Christian:

Everybody talks about the receiver Sema’J Hayes, who made the “You Got Mossed” catch in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, but let’s talk about the quarterback who threw him the pass, and that is Franklin Parish High School QB Bryce Curtis. After leading the Patriots to their first home playoff game in ten years throwing for 2,208 yards and 22 touchdowns while also showing his ability to run with 158 yards and 5 more touchdowns on the ground, Curtis showed his touch on the deep ball and his poise helping the West Team come back against the East Team in the bowl game. Now, he will take his talents to Pineville as he has committed to play for Louisiana Christian.

Rosepine High School DB Bryson Meeks Signs With East Texas Baptist University:

Rosepine High School’s Bryson Meeks has signed to play football for East Texas Baptist University. Meeks has been one of the Eagles’ most reliable defenders in their record-breaking two-year run. Meeks has lined up wherever his head coach Brad Ducote has needed him to line up including at linebacker, safety, cornerback, and even running back. He and his brother made a little Gridiron Football All-American Bowl history this past season as the first two siblings to be a part of the bowl game experience with Bryson playing in the senior All-American Bowl Game and his younger brother Brentyn playing in the junior high All-American Bowl Game.

Northshore High School OL Reagan Bolin Has Committed To Play At Centenary College:

Nicknamed on Twitter as “The Unit”, Northshore High School offensive lineman Reagan Bolin has committed to play for Centenary College. At 6’3, 340 pounds, Centenary College has got themselves a great player. Bolin opened up holes for the West running game in the second half to help the West defeat the East in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. Bolin played both offensive guard and tackle for the Panthers this past fall. After playing one varsity season, he is going to be a force to be reckoned with to help jumpstart the Centenary program.

East Beauregard High School FB/DL Gage Hildreth Commits To McNeese State:

East Beauregard High School’s two-way warrior Gage Hildreth has announced his commitment to play at McNeese State. Hildreth was a bruiser for the Trojans this past season as a runner with 1,304 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns headlined by a performance against Pickering in which he had 24 carries for 280 yards and five touchdowns on offense while having eight tackles on defense. Hildreth was a part of a great defensive line for the West in the bowl game as he notched a sack plus a bunch of quarterback hurries. Hildreth will make a great addition for the Cowboys on either side of the ball.

Vidalia High School CB Brenden McMillan Signs With Louisiana Christian:

Vidalia High School cornerback Brenden McMillan is the third Viking to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and signed with a college. Recently, he made his decision to sign with Louisiana Christian. Although he may only be 5’7, 165 pounds, McMillan plays bigger than his size and never backs down from a challenge against bigger receivers. Case in point, his performance in the bowl game as he finished with three tackles representing the West Team.

Kenner Discovery High School WR Donte Morgan Commits To Louisiana Christian:

Kenner Discovery High School wide receiver Donte Morgan has committed to Louisiana Christian. The Wildcats have gotten themselves another big playmaking receiver in Morgan. At 6’1, 185 pounds, he proved to be a big play option for the Swamp Owls and earned 1st Team All-District honors.

Rosepine High School WR Isiah Stinson Signs With John Melvin University:

Rosepine High School wide receiver Isiah Stinson has signed with John Melvin University. Stinson played a big part in the Eagles’ best two year run in program history as he became the team’s big play receiver with 20 touchdown catches in that time period. He also showed off his skills for the West Team finishing with three catches for 48 yards including a leaping grab in the first half of the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

Breaux Bridge High School MLB/S Antonio Alexander Commits To Missouri Valley College:

Breaux Bridge High School ball hawking linebacker/safety hybrid Antonio Alexander has committed to play for Missouri Valley College. Alexander is coming off an incredible senior season which he helped lead the Tigers to the Quarterfinals by having 144 total tackles (11 tackles per game), 7 TFLs, 3 sacks, 8 QB hurries, 2 pass deflections, 3 fumble recoveries, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 blocked punts. The 1st Team All-District selection also made an impact on offense as a running back with 441 rushing yards and 10 TDs plus 2 two-point conversions. Alexander helped the West Team get the victory in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game with five tackles.

Holy Savior Menard High School RB Rubin Seastrunk Commits To Centenary College:

Centenary College got themselves one of the state’s most underrated running backs in Holy Savior Menard High School’s Rubin Seastrunk. Playing football at the next level runs in the Seastrunk family as Rubin’s uncle Eddie Fuller played at LSU and his uncle’s dad played at Grambling. The Eagles’ team captain is coming off a 700 yard plus rushing season and now, he is going to help the Gents build their new program.

Kenner Discovery DL Deshawn Clark Commits To Minnesota West:

Kenner Discovery defensive lineman Deshawn Clark joined his brothers Dashawn and Marcus Clark to play in this year’s Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and now, he has committed to play at Minnesota West Community and Technical College. Despite being only 5’10, Clark does a great job of being the lower man and besting offensive linemen with low pad level. The four time All-District selection was a big force behind the Swamp Owls being already a competitive football program in just a short amount of time in the program’s history.

Kenner Discovery High School OL DaShawn Clark Commits to Minnesota West Community & Technical College:

The other half of the big Clark twins at Kenner Discovery also has committed to a college in Dashawn Clark as he has committed to play for Minnesota West Community and Technical College. Clark has had a great career in trying to build the young Swamp Owls football program as he has led the team to three straight playoff appearances while earning 1st Team All-District twice, 2nd Team All-District once, and being named team captain his senior year. Now, he will look to do the same thing as he will now suit up for the Blue Jays.

Ferriday High School RB Bobby Sheppard Signs With John Melvin University:

Bobby Sheppard is a 5’7″, 160 pound running back out of Ferriday High School in Monroe, Louisiana. Sheppard carried the rock 86 times over ten games this past season for 631 yards and seven touchdowns, good enough to average 7.3 yards per carry. In addition to his carries, Sheppard caught thirteen passes for 36 yards and one touchdown. He helped the West Team win the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and now, he will be playing football for John Melvin University, which will be playing their first year of college football this season.

Livingston Collegiate LB Kemmon Johnson Signs With Central Methodist:

Livingston Collegiate linebacker Kemmon Johnson came off an All-District season with 92 tackles and a whopping 20 tackles for loss en route to helping the Wolves have their best season in the young program’s history. Kemmon made his presence well known living in opposing backfields this season as he is a slippery player to put a blocker on and he also has a great get off as well for him to get in the backfield. Although not the biggest player at 6’0, 185, Kemmon makes up for it with his timing, toughness, and quickness. Kemmon also helped the West Team win the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game by having a timely interception in the game. He will play college football for Central Methodist.

Eunice High School LB Hayden Darbonne Signs As A Preferred Walk-On With ULL:

Eunice High School’s tackling machine Hayden Darbonne will continue his athletic career as a preferred walk-on with the Ragin’ Cajuns. Darbonne was a great player over his prep career with the Bobcats earning multiple All-District selections. Darbonne is definitely a sleeper of a pickup for the Ragin’ Cajuns as at 6’1, 220 pounds with 4.7/40 speed, the former District Defensive MVP is as tough a hitter as you would see in the state of Louisiana last season. After having back to back 100 plus tackle seasons, he ended his high school playing career by helping the West Team win the 2022 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game with multiple tackles.

North Webster High School WR Cooper Sanders Signs With Southern Arkansas:

North Webster High School speedster Cooper Sanders has signed with Southern Arkansas. His head coach John Ware called Cooper one of the most explosive players that he has ever coached at North Webster as he possesses 4.5/40 speed. He will bring that playmaking ability to the Muleriders of Southern Arkansas.

St. Stanislaus High School RB Chandler Chapman Signs With Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College:

St. Stanislaus High School running back Chandler Chapman signed with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College yesterday. At 6’0. 190 pounds, Chapman just recently set the single season school record with nearly 1,800 yards on the ground and 19 touchdowns. The talented Rock-a-Chaws running back will take his athletic frame and 4.48/40 speed to Perkinston, Mississippi.

Woodlawn High School WR Tramon Douglas Jr. Commits To Grambling State:

Woodlawn High School wide receiver Tramon Douglas Jr. is following in the footsteps of his dad Tramon Douglas Sr. as he is going to play receiver for Grambling. Tramon’s dad was his offensive coordinator at Woodlawn High School and also set the SWAC single season receiving record eclipsing NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice at Mississippi Valley State. The Woodlawn track standout and two sport star showed out at the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game by catching a touchdown for the East Team and finishing with 2 catches for 56 yards in front of his dad, who was one of the coaches, in his final high school game.

Marcus High School DE Devin Strange Walks On At North Texas:

Marcus High School defensive end Devin Strange announced that he will enroll and walk on at North Texas. The 1st Team All-District pass rusher is a physical specimen at 6’4, 235 pounds with 4.9/40 speed is a big steal for the Mean Green and will work his way to get a scholarship. Devin played in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and finished with 3 tackles plus a TFL.

Madison Prep Safety Treylan James Signs With Prairie View A&M:

Madison Prep safety Treylan James is a 6’1″, 200-pound defensive back out of Madison Prep Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A three-star recruit, Treylan James recently signed with Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas during the early signing period. The 1st Team All-District selection led the Chargers to a Quarterfinal finish losing to the eventual LHSAA Division II (Select) State Champion St. Thomas More Cougars. Last season, he had 89 tackles, 4 sacks, 8 TFLs, 4 INTs, 3 FRs, a blocked punt, and even scored 2 defensive TDs. In the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, he finished with four tackles.

Oak Grove High School CB Jy White Commits As A Preferred Walk-On To Iowa Western Community College:

Oak Grove High School CB Jy White is coming off an outstanding senior year in which he won a state championship, having played in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, and now committing to Iowa Western Community College as a preferred walk-on. White was a huge asset to the Tigers’ Division IV (Non-Select) State Championship run with 96 tackles, (5 TFL), 5 INTs (3 Pick 6s), 5 TFLs, 7 PBUs, 2 FFs, 2 FRs, and a blocked punt.

East Ascension High School linebacker Joshua Berfect has signed with Louisiana Christian. At 5’10, 215 pounds with 4.6/40 speed, he led the team in tackles with 88 while also having 4 INTs, 1 sack, 2 fumble recoveries, and even scored a defensive touchdown. The All-District linebacker selection had multiple tackles including a TFL in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

Madison Prep Academy LB Markeis Batiste Signs With Southern University:

Another Madison Prep Charger from the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game has signed to play college football in linebacker Markeis Batiste, who has signed with Southern University. The 1st Team All-District linebacker had 61 tackles, 8 sacks, 15 TFLs, 4 FFs, 2 FRs, and 2 PBUs. In the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, Batiste had multiple tackles.

Escambia High School OL Alfred Washington Signs With Arkansas Tech:

From the state of Florida, Escambia High School offensive lineman Alfred Washington has signed to play football at Arkansas Tech. His big, athletic frame with 4.9/40 speed helped lead the Escambia Gators to an 8-4 record, and into the State Regional Finals of the Florida High School Playoffs. After narrowing down his top three colleges, Washington chose to play for the Bulldogs. The 1st Team All-Area offensive lineman also played in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game in Orange Beach, Alabama.

Castle View High School Center Cole Stanley Signs With Fort Lewis College:

Castle View High School offensive lineman Cole Stanley represented the Rocky Mountain state in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. Playing center for the Sabercats, Stanley has great strength as he can bench press 305 pounds and can squat 495 pounds in the weight room. Now, he is going to continue his playing career at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.

Escambia High School Offensive Lineman Isaiah Jones Committed To University of Fort Lauderdale:

Escambia High School has another offensive lineman from the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game that will be playing college football in Isaiah Jones, who has committed to play at the University of Fort Lauderdale. As the team’s offensive line MVP this season, Jones brought an intimidating presence to the Gators’ rushing attack at 6’4, 325 pounds and he will get the chance to do the same thing at the University of Fort Lauderdale.

Homer High School OL Da’Vion Champ Commits To Mississippi Prep:

Homer High School offensive lineman Da’Vion Champ played a huge part behind the Pelicans’ incredible two year run that includes a state championship and a state championship runner-up finish. Now, the Pelicans’ offensive lineman will continue his prep career at Mississippi Prep after having a good showing at the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

Cecilia High School LB Ridge Collins Signs With Coffeyville Community College:

Cecilia High School’s two way star Ridge Collins is going to continue his college career at Coffeyville Community College. Collins did some damage on both sides of the football. As a running back, he was a bruiser for the Bulldogs and as a linebacker, he was a big time hitter that was a two time District Defensive MVP selection. Collins finished with over three tackles in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

Vidalia High School WR Zion Buck Commits To Central State:

Vidalia High School wide receiver Zion Buck has committed to play football at Central State. Buck played multiple positions for the Vikings including at wide receiver, defensive back, and also made a lot of plays as a kick returner. The All-District playmaker had a couple of spectacular outings for the Vikings highlighted by his individual performance in a win over Block earlier this season when he had a punt return and a kickoff return for a touchdown. He also made plays in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game finishing with two catches for 24 yards.

Collegiate High School DT/DE Calvin Battley Commits To Fullerton College:

Collegiate Baton Rouge High School defensive end/defensive tackle Calvin Battley has announced on February 4th that he has committed to play college football at Fullerton College. Calvi had a great outing in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game as he finished as one of the East Team’s leading tacklers with four tackles in the football game.

Warren Easton High School DE Jaden Davis Signs With Louisiana Christian:

One of Warren Easton’s top senior defenders has announced his decision to sign with Louisiana Christian in defensive end Jaden Davis. At 6’4, 220 pounds, Davis is long, lean, and athletic pass rusher. Davis played a big part in the East Team for the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game by having a couple of knocked down passes.

East Feliciana High School QB Mills Dawson Commits To Mississippi Prep:

The leading passer in the Baton Rouge metro area this past season has committed to play at Mississippi Prep in East Feliciana High School QB Mills Dawson. The 6’4, 212 pound signal caller came off a great senior season in which he threw for 3,052 yards and 35 touchdowns finishing number four in the entire state in passing. Dawson, who is the nephew of Miami OC Shannon Dawson, was a Gridiron Football All-American and was the starting quarterback for the East Team. Although the East Team came up short, Dawson was responsible for throwing the first two touchdown passes of the game while also throwing for 233 yards.

Abbeville High School CB Tyler Cherry Commits To Bethel University:

Abbeville High School CB Tyler Cherry has made his college decision and that was committing to Bethel University. Cherry was a standout cornerback for a Wildcats team that won seven games including a playoff victory. Last season, Cherry earned 1st Team All-Region, All-District, and All-Parish while also earning All-State honorable mention honors with 60 total tackles, 34 solo, 13 TFLs, 10 PBUs, 2 INTs, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble.

Avoyelles High School RB Josh Williams Commits To Butler Community College:

Avoyelles High School running back Josh Williams was part of the three headed monster backfield that led the state of Louisiana in rushing this past season. In his senior season, Williams ran for 1,703 yards and 20 touchdowns on only 193 carries en route to earning 1st Team All-State and 1st Team All-Parish honors. Now, he will be taking his talents to Butler Community College.

Franklin Parish High School LB Elijah Henderson Signs With North American University:

Elijah Henderson is a 6’1″, 180 pound linebacker for Franklin Parish High School in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Elijah finished his last season with 80 solo tackles, 41 assisted tackles, 9 TFLs, 1 sack, and 1 FF. He helped the Patriots host their first playoff game in over ten years and a lot of it had to do with his high level play on the defensive side of the football and now, he signed his letter of intent to play for North American University. He finished the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game with five tackles and a TFL.

Ferriday High School ATH Chavo Thomas Signs With Louisiana Christian University:

Chavo Thomas is a dynamic athletic that utilizes run after catch with twitchy movements to help him get awake from defenders despite only being 5’5, 155 pounds. He has amazing acceleration speed paired with lightning-fast lateral movements that make him a threat anywhere on the field. Chavo’s speed was utilized effectively as a slot receiver where he displayed his quick acceleration and shifty cuts against defenses. He will be a great addition to Louisiana Christian University and could be a guy that could excel the most in the return game.

Ferriday High School ATH Shacoby Boxley Signs With John Melvin University:

Shacoby Boxley is a 5’8, 160 pound pure athlete out of Ferriday High School in Ferriday, LA. Shacoby played both ways for Ferriday as a QB/DB during his final season. While Shacoby has an arm on him, his most impressive attributes are his shifty movements, quick acceleration, and speed. This player’s speed and playmaking abilities is going to be worth keeping an eye on when he takes his talents to play for John Melvin University.

Livingston Collegiate DL Christian Tate Signs With Central Methodist:

Livingston Collegiate defensive lineman Christian Tate is one of the numerous standouts that played for Livingston Collegiate Academy this past fall and guided the Wolves to a breakout season, which included nine wins and the school’s first playoff victory. In his senior season, he had 36 tackles, 9 TFLs, and 2 sacks. In the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, Tate came to play and was one of the standouts on the East Team with  three tackles, a TFL and had two quarterback hurries. He will now play college football for Central Methodist.

Livingston Collegiate TE Trayion Day Signs With Central Methodist:

Trayion Day is a 6’2″, 224 pound tight end out of Livingston Collegiate Academy in New Orleans, Louisiana. Trayion was one of the key players that helped lead the Wolves to an incredibly surprising season as the program won nine games including a playoff game this season. The 2nd Team All-District selection was effective as a pass catcher as he had 25 catches for 313 yards and 5 TDs just halfway through the season, but his impact as a blocker has an impact that cannot be shown on a stat sheet. His versatility also comes in handy, as he completed all three of his passes for 129 yards and a touchdown. Trayion is the third Wolf to sign with Central Methodist.

Livingston Collegiate DL Kaleb Whins Signs With Central Methodist:

Kaleb Whins is 5’10, 265 pound defensive lineman out of Livingston Collegiate Academy in New Orleans, LA. Kaleb is an athletic build for a defensive tackle/end that recorded an outstanding 41 tackles, 9 TFLs, and 4 sacks during his final season at Livingston Collegiate Academy. Kaleb does not stop until the whistle is blown. He is a patient defensive lineman that can quickly close a gap against an offensive lineman and also comes off the ball with acceleration often disrupting the quarterback. Kaleb is the fourth and final Wolf to sign with Central Methodist from the 2022 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
