Airline High School (Bossier City, LA) linebacker Kamron Wilson has committed to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which is going to be held at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, December 30th in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Playing for the Vikings, Wilson was the heart and soul of the defense after leading the team in sacks this past season.

At 5’11, 210 pounds, the Vikings’ team captain has always been a coach’s favorite because he just does whatever the team needs him to play and he excels. Competing at the Class 5A level against some of the biggest offensive lines in the state of Louisiana, Wilson may have been a little undersized playing on the defensive line, but he goes full effort on every play and has an incredible motor. He is also a technician when using his hands and being fundamentally sound.

Airline’s senior leader has based his play off of NFL All-Pro pass rusher Von Miller because of his speed and quickness. Right now, Wilson has received interest from Centenary College, Hendrix, and Arkansas Monticello. After playing most of the time as a defensive lineman in high school, he will get the chance to show off some of his versatility as a linebacker in the upcoming bowl game.
