Deshawn Clark will join his two brothers Dashawn and Marcus in Orange Beach, Alabama to play one final time together in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. Deshawn along with his brothers helped a new program in Kenner Discovery achieve success in a short amount of time as the three brothers were a part of the building blocks for PJ Sprunk’s program reaching the playoffs the last three years. Deshawn and Dashawn manned the line of scrimmages for the Swamp Owls. Like Dashawn, Deshawn would be getting a lot more offers if he was taller. Deshawn may only be 5’10 at 275 pounds, but it is tough for any lineman to push Deshawn back as he is incredibly strong, plays with low pad level and discipline. As a defensive lineman, Deshawn does a great job of stopping the run, taking on double teams, and creating inside pressure. Deshawn has been as consistent as it gets throughout his high school career as a four-time All-District selection. His hard work has earned him an opportunity to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and is excited to take advantage of it.
“I was in shock especially because it came from Andy Bryson himself. My teammates had more excitement for me than anything. This was something I wanted to be a part of for a whole now and for me to how the opportunity to show my talents in high school one last time is a huge blessing.”Kenner Discovery DL Deshawn Clark
Join Deshawn on Dec 30th in Orange Beach, Alabama at the Orange Beach Sportsplex for a 5pm kickoff.
