Taleb Williams had a great first impression playing his first year of varsity football. Taleb looked like a veteran this season for the Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves. This past season, Taleb helped the Wolves achieve a 9-3 record including its first ever playoff win just a couple of years into the program’s existence. At 6’1, 165 pounds with 4.5/40 speed, Taleb has all the physical measurables to become a standout cover corner. When quarterbacks tried to throw it his way, usually things did not go well as the 2nd Team All-District selection was a ball magnet with five interceptions, 30 tackles, and 11 PBUs. After finishing his first ever season playing football, Taleb has plenty of upside and is looking to play for a college when it is all said and done. He will get the opportunity to showcase his talents at the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game on December 30th.
“My reaction when I heard I was invited to the bowl game was very exciting because I will be able to show my skills and the training and effort my coaches put into me, I feel like this will be a great opportunity to show them my appreciation and do something with the coaching I received. They did the part now. It’s my turn to do mine. It was also shocking that I can be part of something like this. I never been part of anything like this before. To play in a great bowl game featuring some of the country’s finest is a big thing. I get the chance to compete with others and show my skills in front of college recruiters, which will be a huge opportunity for me to get offers.”Livingston Collegiate Academy CB Taleb Williams
