GF All-American Bowl Game Commit: Jared Jones

Livingston Collegiate Academy linebacker Jared Jones has committed to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

Jared Jones is the third defensive player from Livingston Collegiate Academy to be committed to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. In only just a few seasons, the Wolves led by former Edna Karr standout Devon Francois not only went to the playoffs, but even hosted and won a playoff game this year. Jared played a big part in the Wolves winning ten games as he led a defense that had seven games in which the team gave up single digit points in a game. Jared and his linebacker Kemmon Johnson, who will also be playing in the Bowl Game in Orange Beach, were a great one-two punch at linebacker. Jared was constantly in the backfield after having 53 tackles, 13 TFLs, and 4 sacks. Jared thrives on being an outside pass rusher as he has the 4.5/40 speed to track down any quarterback off the edge. His speed and instincts make him standout as a defender and was someone that every offense has to account for. Jared will bring his game wrecking ability to Orange Beach, Alabama to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

“My first reaction was me mentally feeling blessed to play another high school game and also the fact that the fruits of my labor were finally showing.”
