GF All-American Bowl Game Commit: Caylon Davis

Patterson High School senior QB Caylon Davis has committed to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

Louisiana has a lot of great quarterback talent this season. In fact, this has been the best quarterback class in the state since the ranking system came out with the likes of Rickie Collins (LSU signee), Eli Holstein (Alabama signee), and Arch Manning (Texas signee) representing the 2023 class, but the top signal caller that has led this entire state in passing is the highly underrated Caylon Davis from Patterson High School. Playing in his coach Garrett Kreamer’s high flying passing offensive system, Caylon thrived as he put big time video game numbers for the Lumberjacks this season. In 2022, the Lumberjacks senior dual threat quarterback threw for 3,367 yards and 35 TDs while also showing off his running ability with 14 rushing scores to account for 49 total TDs this season. Despite leading the state in passing full of other great DI quarterbacks, Caylon feels that his name is flying under the radar when it comes to being one of the state’s top passers and he will get the chance to show off his ability in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game as one of the game’s quarterbacks.

“My reaction to being invited to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game was total awe. I was speechless! Being considered for the opportunity alongside some of the best in the country speaks volumes, but to actually play is big time for me. I’m going to do what I do best: be a team player and ball out 110 percent. I’m humbled and grateful.”
