Peabody High School (Alexandria, LA.) WR Dartavian Depass has committed to the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl!
Depass measures at 6’2, 180 pounds and is one of the best players coming from Central Louisiana. He was named the Offensive MVP for District 2-4A after he had 820 receiving yards with eight receiving touchdowns along with 786 rushing yards with 22 rushing touchdowns.
“It means a lot to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl because it gives me one last shot for people to see what I’m capable and how much of a dedicated player. I come from the small town of Baldwin where we don’t have much. But with the opportunities I have, I am going to use it to my advantage to make it out and take care of my family.”
“I like to model myself after Travis Hunter. I like Travis Hunter because it is rare to see player play both sides of the ball in college ball and I’m that guy that can play any position on both sides of the ball to help put my team in a position to win a ball game.”
The has received collegiate from Lane College, a Division II HBCU located in Jackson, Tennessee, and Graceland University, a NAIA college located in Lemoni, Iowa. He has also received some offers from prep schools such as Mississippi Prep and Roseville Athletic Academy. his play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl may earn him some more offers. Because of his size and speed, don’t be surprised if he gets more offers coming his way.
