Center RB Kaden Dixon is First Player to Commit to the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game

The first player to commit to the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game comes from the state of Texas in Center High School star running back Kaden Dixon. The 6’0, 190 pound running back is one of the top senior running backs in the state, especially after having a record setting season in 2022.

Last season, Dixon found himself in the end zone quite often rushing for over 2,200 yards and 33 touchdowns on 267 carries. The incredible stat line was highlighted by a dominating performance in the Roughriders’ first round playoff victory over Liberty-Eylau with 409 yards rushing and six touchdowns. The all-star running back finished his junior season by attending the 2022 Gridiron Football All-American Game as a spectator just to get a feel for what this moment will be like when his senior season comes along.

“It was a great experience. I got to meet some good guys and some great players. I got to practice, got some reps in, and it was just a great experience.”

After practicing and getting some reps, Dixon will return to participate in the game, but this time, he will get the chance to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. Being the first official commit and being honored as a Gridiron Football All-American, Dixon certainly cannot wait to put on a show in Baton Rouge at the end of his senior season.

“I’m ready. I’m pumped. I’m ready to go back and be able to play. It’s a blessing because it’s a fun thing to do and I love the sport. I just love going out there and playing football.”

Until then, Dixon has some unfinished business to do as he is looking to break more program records while getting more college offers as he currently has an offer from Arkansas Monticello.

“I want at least 40 touchdowns and 3,000 yards. I am just a guy that is willing to go hard on the field at all times.”

At 6’0, 190 pounds with 4.5/40 speed, Dixon also showed up at our Gridiron Football Jonesboro Hodge camp and put on a show back earlier this March. Make sure to keep an eye on our first Gridiron Football All-American of 2023 and see what he does this fall.

Kaden will be one of the standout players that will be playing in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be on the last week of December in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. For more of our bowl game invites and commitments, make sure to follow us here at Gridiron Football USA!
