The 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game Makes Its Return To Baton Rouge!

For the second year in a row, the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game will return to Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with the game week festivities being held at Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, Louisiana, which is the official home of Gridiron Football Events.

The 6th annual game will be held on Monday, December 30th and it will be an all-day event of non-stop football. As not only will the senior game be featured with some of the best high school football talent across the Gulf South, but also some of the rising young talent at the middle school level all around the state of Louisiana.

The week was kicked off by the new mayor of Gonzales Tim Riley, who welcomed over 400 players, coaches, and parents into the city. Then, Gridiron Football CEO Andy Bryson awarded Marcus Randall, Richard Hebert, James Taylor, Marcus Singleton, and CJ Maiden the Presidential Medal of Volunteer Service, which is signed by former President Joe Biden for their loyal service to Gridiron Football.

The Gridiron Football senior All-American Bowl Game has a high success rate of 98% when getting kids college offers. Over the years, there have been former players from LSU, TCU, Kansas, ULM, UL, Louisiana Tech, South Alabama, Georgia Tech, East Carolina, Memphis, Arizona, Tulane, Southeastern Louisiana, McNeese State, Nicholls State, Centenary College, Texas Lutheran, Stephen F. Austin, Houston, Rice, Florida, Arkansas Tech, Harding, Hendrix, Grambling State, Northwestern State, Louisiana Christian, Belhaven, Navy, Air Force, Army, ETBU, and more that have played in this game.

Every year, the game has grown more and more not only statewide, but nationally. The 2024 bowl game will feature players from Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Florida.

For the first time, the senior game will be played between Team Lions and Team Tigers. Team Lions is coached by Jay Murphee from Arkansas while Team Tigers is coached by Kenner Discovery Head Coach P.J. Sprunk.

The teams were drafted and selected by Andy Bryson and former LSU QB Marcus Randall. Andy is the GM for Team Lions while Marcus is the GM for Team Tigers. Each senior was selected for the 2024 Gridiron Football Draft with Team Tigers selecting Ascension Catholic High School (LA) RB Chad Elzy as their first overall pick and Team Lions selecting Marshall High School (TX) WR Raijon Sims as their first overall pick.

All of the players that are participating in this year’s game have all made All-District or All-State while majority of the players have received college scholarships to play at the next level. For many, this is the last opportunity to represent their high school before setting their focus to college life.

This year’s senior game is also making history with the first female player to have ever been selected to participate in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. That honor goes to Escambia High School kicker Morgan Stancliff, who will be the placekicker for Team Lions.

When it comes to the third annual Gridiron Football Junior High All-American Bowl Game, the game is taking on an extra dimension as it will be a round robin tournament between Team North led by head coach James Taylor, Team Central led by head coach Devante Scott, and Team South led by head coach James Shiver. Each team will play two running clock games against each other. Whoever has the best overall record or has scored the most amount of points will be crowned the winner of the Junior High All-American Bowl Game.

Besides the game, all the junior high and seniors get an experience of a lifetime by bonding with each other, forming new relationships, having some fun by going to the LSU/Mississippi Valley game on Sunday, and most importantly, getting words of wisdom and advice by not only coaches, but some successful former college and NFL players.

At the 7v7 motivational speech on Saturday, former college and NFL greats Skyler Green, Andrew Glover, Eric Randall, Marcus Singleton, Patrick Cleveland, Marcus Randall, and Shawn Nelson each talked to the players by each getting 7 minutes to inspire young men.

The Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game is a family fun experience that shines a spotlight on under the radar gem prospects and is the pure essence of Faith, Family, and Football.
