Fresh off leading the Trojans to the Division I (Select) State Championship Game, Alexandria Senior High School (Alexandria, LA) WR Jimmie Duncan has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
The 5’11, 180 pound wide receiver was a big contributor for what was a great season for the ASH Trojans as Thomas Bachman’s squad finished the regular season with an undefeated district championship plus a deep postseason run to the Superdome. Duncan finished the season with 35 catches for 564 yards.
Along with fellow Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game commit Darius Washington, Duncan provided some explosive plays in the passing game whenever his name was called.
Northwestern State loves Duncan’s playmaking ability as the Trojans’ wide receiver has committed to stay in Natchitoches to play for the Demons next fall.
“The coaches at Northwestern State made me commit. They just kept it real with me since they started recruiting me. Even though they’re working on getting the program back on track, I just want to be a part of it and try to make history.”

Duncan has a lot of great athletic genes as his cousins Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Travis Etienne, Trevor Etienne, J’mari Monette, and Jermaine Minor are either playing college or NFL football while Rashard Lewis played in the NBA.
Jimmie Duncan will have one more game in showcasing his skills while representing the Trojans at the upcoming 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday, December 30th.
“It means a lot to be able to play in the bowl game and I just want to get better by playing against other good players at the All-American Bowl Game.”
