The All-American Bowl Game has found their newest swiss-army knife.

Slidell High School (Slidell, LA) LS Landon McGrath has committed to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. He’ll be long snapping for the bowl game, but he can do just about anything on the offensive side of the ball. He can play QB, WR, RB, TE, and has even played on the offensive line in the past. He’s the ultimate utility man for whichever team is lucky enough to have him. He finished with 3 receiving TDs, 1 passing TD, and a forced fumble. At 6’1″ 200 lbs, he is the perfect size and has the perfect athletic capacity to do whatever is needed for his team.

He truly is the is the do-it-all guy. I would expect him to play as a “doing the dirty work” blocking WR at the college level. He is a high effort blocker, no matter who he is going up against. He can run routes, catch the ball, and he moves well as a ball carrier after the catch. He might not light up the scoreboard, but he’ll clear the way so the entire offense will as a team.

On top of that, he’s a true team captain, with the work ethic both on and off the field to be a leader. He’s a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Mu Alpha Theta. Unsurprisingly, this jack-of-all trades also plays other sports – baseball, golf, and throwing javelin for his track team. He has no offers yet, but he’ll be looking to take advantage of this great opportunity at our bowl game.

I am thrilled to have been selected to play in the Bowl Game. It’s an incredible honor, and I’m looking forward to competing alongside some of the best players in the country. My primary goal is to showcase my skills and demonstrate that I can excel at a high level against top-tier talent.
