This week in McKinley High School football news, the Panthers go to St. Amant High School after two straight home stands. After rough game conditions in their last matchup, all is looking good for Friday in Dutchtown. Coming off three straight losses, McKinley is looking to make a statement against undefeated St. Amant. Head Coach Malcolm Reed and I talked about his familiarity with the team in being a former coach there, and how McKinley plans to come out strong against the Gators.
Weekly Standout: Sophomore WR Tyler Johnson had a touchdown catch in McKinley’s matchup against Woodlawn-Shreveport and has been catching everything thrown his way in practice.
