In December, Bentley had the opportunity to showcase his skills on a bigger stage, competing in the Gridiron Football Junior High Bowl Game for Team South. Who got you into football?

“My Parents”

Why do you play the game of football?

“It teaches you that anything’s possible if you work hard.”

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned through playing football?

“Even when times get hard, don’t give up.”

Where do you see football going in your life?

“God willing to the next level and beyond.”

What is your favorite football memory?

“When I threw my first touchdown pass when I was 6.”

What does football mean to you?

“I love it and the bond it builds with my teammates.”

What challenges have you had while playing football?

“When I broke my wrist on my throwing hand.”

How did you overcome those challenges?

“Just rehabbing and strengthening my arm.”

How do you stay trained and in football-shape during the off-season?

“Weight training and conditioning with my team and on my own on off days.”

How are you looking to get better and improve in football?

“Listening to my coaches keep training and following Gods plan.”

What are some goals that you have set for yourself in the future?

“Becoming a starting QB”

Who is your favorite football player and why?

“Jayden Daniels he is a great player and inspires me to always look to God when things get tough.”

What football teams do you cheer for?

“Saints, Commanders, and Dolphins”

What do you think your biggest strength is?

“Strong arm and accuracy”

What are your goals going forward?

“Become a starter in high school, college, and hopefully the NFL.”

Do you have a fun fact about yourself?

“I currently play baseball as well and play on our varsity team as a 7th grader the first at our school to ever do that.”
