GF All-American Bowl Commit: Rubin Seastrunk

Holy Savior Menard High School running back Rubin Seastrunk was the go to guy in the Eagles’ ground game under head coach Justin Charles. Rubin comes from a very impressive bloodline as his uncle is Eddie Fuller, who caught the “Earthquake Game” touchdown pass and played at LSU as well as the Buffalo Bills, and his uncle’s dad played at Grambling. Rubin showed off his ability plenty of times this season as he led the Eagles with 752 yards on the ground including a 225 yard and five touchdown performance against Pickering this season. Not only is Rubin the Eagles’ top offensive playmaker, but he sets an example as a leader exemplifying the traits that coaches rave about as a team captain. At 5’8, 180 pounds, Rubin runs with a lot of heart and power as he can squat 385 pounds in the weight room. Rubin will get the chance to display all of his attributes in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game on December 30th in Orange Beach, Alabama.

“I was really excited to play in this game. It feels like all the work I put in is finally paying off. I’m excited to get to showcase my talent against some of the best in the country.”
