DITR – Julian Price

Julian Price is a 6’2″, 185 pound, class of 2024 wide receiver for Bonnabel High School in Kenner, Louisiana. Price is a deep threat; he’s quick for his size and also possesses great hands, and is someone a quarterback can throw the ball up to and trust that Price will come down with the ball. He’s a quick route runner with polished footwork, and one of his biggest strengths is his ability to get off of the line of scrimmage quickly. Price is a very well-rounded receiver, overall. So far in 2023, Price has around 650 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns, and has showed consistency throughout his career, having had 800-ish yards and 6 touchdowns in 2022. He currently runs a 4.4 40-yard dash.

Price doesn’t have any offers but has interest from a number of programs. he hasn’t taken any official visits yet, and currently holds a 3.4 GPA.

Why and at what age did you start playing football?

” I was playing football ever since I was a little baby, around 4, and when I picked up a football, I knew I wanted to play this sport.”

Have you always played your current position, or did you play a different position growing up?

“I always played this position, but I also played almost every position on the field growing up. I work hard and I can do it all.”

What is your favorite memory of playing football so far?

“My favorite memory is scoring my first high-school touchdown.”

How do you balance athletics and academics?

“I would make sure all my work is done, then I would go work out for football.”

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced on the field?

“Playing through two stained hamstrings, it was really a challenge playing through the pain.”

Is there a certain player you try to model your game after?

“I like to model my game as myself but a player I like to would be Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase, and more.”

How do you stay physically fit outside of football?

“I work out almost everyday.”

What are you hoping to achieve this season?

“To make all district and earn some offers.”

What is your end goal for your football career?

“To be one of the best wide receivers to ever play, and make it to the hall of fame.”

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned playing football?

“That you can’t give up and you have to keep pushing no matter what.”

How do you prepare for big games?

“I make sure to stretch good and get my mind right.”

What type of play style do you have?

“I’m a, all-around receiver, I got the size, I’m fast, and I can basically do anything.”

Lastly, who is the biggest role model in your life?

“My biggest role model in my life is my dad.”
