Jason Dowell is a student-athlete currently attending Althoff Catholic High School as part of the class of 2025.Jason is a formidable presence standing tall at 6 feet 4 inches as a defensive lineman for Althoff football. Notably, he’s not just dedicated to football; he’s also a multi-sport athlete, participating in three different sports. Recently, he achieved the remarkable feat of becoming a state champion in wrestling for his school, showcasing his athleticism. During the football season, Jason’s prowess on the field was evident as he racked up an impressive 11 sacks and 83 tackles.From his film, it’s evident that Jason showcases an impressive blend of techniques on the defensive line. Not only does he excel at shedding blocks with finesse, but he also demonstrates remarkable power, often overpowering offensive linemen to disrupt plays and make his presence felt.
What are some things you have overcome in life?
“I’ve overcome numerous challenges, although I can’t specify them all here. However, I’m can tell you that you’ll witness my journey of resilience and triumph in my future documentary.”
What are your biggest accomplishments?
“My most significant accomplishments include following the path of Jesus Christ and achieving the title of state champion in wrestling for my school.”

” I would say Aaron Donald because I’ve been watching him for so long
What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?
“After my football journey concludes, my primary focus will be to continue following the teachings of Jesus Christ and to prioritize my family life.”

“My primary goals are winning a state championship and striving to become the best player and teammate possible.”

“What I deeply appreciate about football is the camaraderie of it.

“My outstanding fact is that I am a apostolic Pentecostal Christian.”

“My Dream school is the one I will be committing too in the future that presents an exciting opportunity for me to further my academic and athletic pursuits.”

“My primary position on the field is on the defensive line, a role that I have played since I started playing football.”

“My coaches play a important role in my development, constantly pushing me to reach my fullest potential both as a player and as a person. Their guidance, encouragement, and dedication to my growth inspire me to continually strive for excellence as player and as a person.”
What colleges have you received any offers or interest from if any and what is your dream college to play for?
I”‘m thrilled to share that I’ve received a total of 22 offers from various colleges. Among them, some of the most notable include Oregon, Mizzou, USC, Auburn, and Nebraska.
