How is it playing all three positions at one time?

It can be a tad difficult remembering all the plays but I love the challenge and I love playing football. I am willing to do whatever it takes to contribute to my team getting the win.

How old were you when you started playing football?

I was 4 years old when I started playing football.

Out of all the sports that you have participated in, how did you know that football was the sport for you?

I had a brother that played football for Baylor University and another brother that played football as well. I grew up watching them play the game that they love, and it only inspired me to want to play football. Now actually playing the sport, my love has grown even stronger for it.

If I were to go to ask a coach who’s Myles Patin, what would they say in your opinion?

My coaches would say that I am a hard-worker because, I am always the first one there and the last one to leave. I always trying to go above and beyond to help the team anyway that I can.

What is one word that describes you and why?

I would have to say brave because, I have always wanted to go up against the biggest and toughest competitors. I am always up for the challenge, it challenges me and helps me evolve as a player on and off the field.

How has memorizing the plays and your specific route when playing those three different positions at the same time helped you off the field?

It has taught me that to be great you have to do extra things. For example, hard work beats talent because, I have seen a lot of talented people but the work you put in, is what puts you above others.

What did Ray Lewis or Derrius Guice do that inspired you?

When I found out that Derrius Guice didn’t have much of anything growing up and he had a goal set to make something out of nothing. Now that he is in the NFL means that you can truly make something out of nothing as long as your give it your all and then some. You have to stay true to yourself and the goals you have in order to achieve success.

What is your career plans?

I want to go to college and major in Agriculture, I want to be a plant scientist. Some kind of way become a high school teacher so that I can eventually become a high school football coach.

How do you think football will help you achieve this goal this goal in life?

I want to continue gathering knowledge about the sport. I can relate to the athletes from a player standpoint, but I also want to broaden their knowledge from a coach standpoint.

What is one interesting fact about you?

I like to write poems and books, writing is one of my favorite hobbies.
