When did you start playing football & what made you start playing?

“I started playing football when I was 5 years old. What made fall in love with it was the fact that I thought I was a little decent at it, at that age, and just couldn’t wait to start playing it whenever football season came around.”

What do you love about football?

“What I love about football is the life lessons that come with playing the game and the fact that I can make a lot of money to take care of my family.”

What player, NFL or College did you model your game after?

“The players I really watch a lot is Barry Sanders and Jahmyr Gibbs. I watch Barry Sanders because he is quick on his feet and will make you miss no matter when and where, I watch Jahmyr Gibbs because he can make you miss in open field, he’s fast, and has that break away speed that not too many running backs have in the big leagues. Also, because they’re both the same size as me, I like to watch players that are around my size.”

What would your teammates say about you?

“I can’t speak for my team, but I would think they would have good things to say about me and I know I have faith in them just like they have faith in me. I can trust them to get the job done and make a play.”

What is your motivation?

“My motivation is my family. Point plank and simple.”

What parts of your game are you working on right now?

“I’m working on every part of my game. It’s nothing I can do that can’t keep getting better. I’m always picking up on tips and workouts to do when I have nothing to do. In order to make it to college, then the NFL, is to work harder then the man onside me or even maybe in front me at the time.”

What is your goal for this season?

“My goal for this season is to make it to the state championship and win it. All them personal stats don’t mean nothing if I can’t lead my team and win the whole thing.”

What game or moment in the game has been your favorite up to this point?

“The game that has been my favorite up to this point was the Barbe game. I say that because my team started off slow and got down 28-7 before half time. After half time, we fought until the end and it was a dog fight. Even though we came up short, we finished the game 32-35.”

What do you do on your free time outside of school?

“Outside of school, on my free time I eat, workout, listen to music, and repeat. Watch film on the team we have next and see what mistakes to do that gives me a better advantage on them.”

What is one thing that you think college coaches and recruiters should know about you?

“One thing I feel college coaches and recruits should know about me is I’m a hard worker. I love to do work, get better, and try to perfect my craft. I’ll give them 110% in everything I do that’s on the field and in the classroom.”

What do you think your best trait is?

“My best trait is my heart and will for this game, because having heart will take you a long way. You have heart and mix that with the will, hard work, dedication and the determination…now that’s a bad man.”
