When did you start playing football & what made you start playing?

“I started playing football when I was 5 or 6. What made me start playing football, was my parents, because it gave me something to do to keep me occupied.”

What do you love about football?

“I started loving football because it felt like I was playing with family, and I made a lot of friends, who are now like brothers to me.”

What player, NFL or College did you model your game after?

“The players I really looked up to were Jayden Daniels, Shedeur Sanders, and Bryce Young, but I always tried to be myself and play with my own style.”

What would your teammates say about you?

“If you where to ask my teammates about me, I think they would say that I’m cool person to be around and that I might not talk a lot, but when it’s time to get to work, I’m locked in.”

What is your motivation?

“My motivation that keeps me going is just knowing that I was always slept on or overlooked. No one really believed in me, or gave me a chance to show them what I can do besides Niceville and a couple of close friends.”

What parts of your game are you working on right now?

“My goal this year really was to just work hard and leave it all out on the field every game and I really felt like that’s what I did. Now, God is blessing me with chances and opportunities to go play at the college level, even though I never thought I would have gotten the chance.”

What game or moment in the game has been your favorite up to this point?

“My favorite game this season was definitely against Lincoln. I had 213 rushing yards and 90 yards passing with a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown, but, without my O-line and wide receivers, I wouldn’t have made it to the point I’m at right now. I’m really thankful to them and how hard they work everyday.”

What do you do on your free time outside of school?

“When I have free time, I usually go to work. Sometimes, I’ll go watch some of the Niceville basketball games with my teammates or play some NCAA against my friends.”

What is one thing that you think college coaches and recruiters should know about you?

“One thing coaches should know about me is that I’m a hard worker and an over achiever, but I’m very competitive. I love to play against people who are better than me, because it gives me a chance to learn from them and help develop my game, so I can be the best player I can be for my team.”

What do you think your best trait is?

“I think my best trait is that I’m very coachable and I feel like that’s hard to come around. Not a lot of people can take the yelling and screaming the coaches do when you mess up, but instead of be upset, learn from it because in the end, the coaches are just trying to make you a better player than what you already are.”
