Jy’Heim Williams is a RB out of South Plaquemines High. With a solid frame of 5’10, 170 pounds, the senior back finished his senior season with 937 yards on only 89 carries (10.5 YPC) and 12 TDs in only ten recorded games. He was also able to catch 13 receptions for 163 yards and an extra two TDs. Off the field, Jy’Heim Hines was able to sustain a 3.0 GPA as he looks to be a valuable addition to whatever college he plays for!
When did you start playing football & what made you start playing?
“I started playing football when I was 4 years old. My Parents got me into the sport.”
What do you love about football?
“I love the excitement about football, the brotherhood, and the lessons.”
What player, NFL or College did you model your game after?
“I model my patience based off Le’veon Bell, other than that, majority is just in my blood.”
What would your teammates say about you?
“My teammates would say that I’m a role model on and off the field, they can always count on me at any moment.”
What is your motivation?
“My motivation is my family, my day one friends, situations God put me in, and my school past.”
What parts of your game are you working on right now?
“Right now, I am working on finishing that’s about all.”
What was your goal for this season?
“My goal this season was to finish a State Champion, First Team All-State and receive a Division 1 offer.”
What game or moment in the game has been your favorite up to this point?
“My favorite game had to be the quarterfinals, against Mangham High School.”
What do you do on your free time outside of school?
“On my free time right now, I do a lot of film studying, school work, and spending time with my family.”
What is one thing that you think college coaches and recruiters should know about you?
“One thing college recruiters should know about me is that I am a very hungry humble kid, that’s ready to work.”
What do you think your best trait is?
“My best trait is my humility, I never feel like I’m better than anyone, or too good for anything. I also I never take anything for granted.”
