When did you start playing football & what made you start playing?
“I’ve been around football my whole life with my dad being a head coach. I started playing in 7th grade and never looked back.”
What do you love about football?
“I love the brotherhood you form with your teammates on the field and in the locker room.”
What player, NFL or College did you model your game after?
“I model my game after Zach Thomas. He was an undersized linebacker that played with a huge chip on his shoulder, because everyone thought he was too small. I’m a little undersized as well. so I love watching his tapes.”
What would your teammates say about you?
“I would hope my teammates say I am a leader that puts others before himself. I hope they say, “He is a competitor and will give it his all every day”.”
What is your motivation?
“My motivation is my family. They are so supportive of me and make sure I have everything I need to succeed.”
What was your goal for this season?
“My goal for the season was to have as much fun as possible. This season was my last season playing for my dad and with my little brother, so I’m trying to saver every last bit of it.”
What game or moment in the game has been your favorite up to this point?
“My favorite game I’ve been apart of was the state championship we played in whenever I was a sophomore. This was special to me because my whole family was involved on the team. My older brother played safety, I played linebacker, my dad was coaching and my little brother was the ball boy. It was really awesome sharing the field with all of them.”
What do you do on your free time outside of school?
“I love hanging out with my family outside of school. Any time we spend together I enjoy.”
What is one thing that you think college coaches and recruiters should know about you?
“I think coaches should know I will always put the team in front of myself and I will give 100% effort in whatever I do. I’ll do whatever it takes to win.”
What do you think your best trait is?
“My best trait is me being coachable. I love learning and gathering as much information as I can.”
