BREAKING NEWS: Woodlawn High School (Baton Rouge, LA) OL Cedric May Commits To The Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game

Woodlawn High School (Baton Rouge, LA) offensive lineman Cedric May Jr. has committed to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game that will be held at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Saturday, December 30th! At 6’2, 295 pounds, the Panthers offensive guard has been a good player for Marcus Randall’s squad.

With his big, intimidating presence, May backs it up as he is what you want in a college offensive lineman. Not only does he have the size, but he has the aggression, power and the nastiness needed to finish blocks. With a lot of veteran DI guys gone for this season, May was one of the key core guys that the Panthers leaned on in the trenches. After originally starting out playing majority on the defensive line, he has made the transition to playing both sides of the football this past season.

The Panthers’ two way starter models his game after former White Castle High School offensive lineman and current Chicago Bears offensive lineman Ja’Tyre Carter. Right now with a 3.2 GPA, May has received a college offer from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, but he will get another chance to show off his talents to colleges at the upcoming bowl game.

“This is going to be another great opportunity to get to college.”
