Warren Easton High School (New Orleans, LA) defensive end Nasir Hudson has committed to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. At 6’3, 235 pounds with 4.8/40 speed, Hudson is one of the most talented defensive linemen to take part in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. The senior from New Orleans, Louisiana started off his career by playing on the offensive line where he was 1st Team All-District in 2021 and 2022, but it is the defensive line where he has shined at the most because of his long frame, athleticism, and his wide arrange of pass rushing moves that he uses at his disposal. Hudson studies the game hard and even models his game after NFL All-Pro defensive end Von Miller. It was a hard season for the Fighting Eagles as Warren Easton’s second half of the season was cancelled and could not participate in the playoffs, but the Eagles accomplished a lot of great things including defeating two state championship teams in Ruston and Catholic High on the field this season.

A team captain for the Eagles, Hudson never let what was going on off the field affect his effort and tenacity on the football field as through six games, he had 28 tackles, 5 TFLs, 10 solo tackles, 18 assists, and four sacks.
As an All-District player on both sides of the football, Hudson has certainly showed off his ability to play at the next level as he has received offers from Grambling and Independence Community College. He will get another chance to show off his talents at the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played on Saturday, December 30th at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

When Nasir Hudson is not playing football, he enjoys fishing with his dad and having family functions. After his playing days are over, he wants to become an athletic physical therapist and invest in real estate.
