Salmen High School (Slidell, LA) running back Jacobi Jefferson is the latest to commit to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. The Spartans’ 1st Team All-State running back is worth the price of admission as he is a human highlight reel. Jefferson has the uncanny ability to make defenders miss as soon as he touches the football and he can cut on a dime. He is one of those rare players that can score on any given play and can make a ordinary three yard run fun to watch. This past season, he led the Spartans to a nine win season and made plenty of highlight reel plays by rushing for 1,916 yards and 25 touchdowns. The team’s offensive star accounted for over 2,000 all-purpose yards and became the number one rusher not only in the district, but in all of St. Tammany Parish.

The 1st Team All-District and 1st Team All-State running back put up some video game numbers with over 3,000 all-purpose yards in two years. He has received plenty of college intrigue, but Jefferson has already decided where he is going to play by committing to Pearl River Community College.
“PRCC felt like home. I was treated like family as soon as I arrived on campus. It’s a great atmosphere to learn, train, and just grow as a student athlete. It’s also close to home so it makes it easier for my family to make games and that’s my support system so it means a lot.”

If you are in town or want to watch this electrifying playmaker, I would highly suggest to come and see this guy play as he takes a lot of other exciting skill plays and adds it to his game. He even says that he compares himself as a four way mixture of Barry Sanders, De’Anthony Thomas, Tavon Austin, and Kadarius Toney.
