Gulfport High School (Gulfport, MS) Kicker Grayson Tegeder has committed to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. He’ll be adding an important level of special teams consistency to the game.

Grayson’s a kicker that has become a near-automatic robot. His junior year saw him become the epitome of consistency, where he did not miss a PAT the entire season. He went 30/30. There are so many high school teams in the country that are desperately lacking that kind of consistency, to the point where the idea of a perfect kicking season is completely unimaginable. It’s a fantasy, a utopia that only exists in the dreams of high school special teams coordinators everywhere. But Grayson did it in his junior year.

Then, the next year, he followed it up with yet another great campaign. He wasn’t perfect this time around, but he went 36/38 in PATs, which was still really impressive. He went 3/3 in field goals as well, with a long of 35 yards. Putting together back to back years as a kicker at that level is something you really don’t see too often. He is going to be a huge boon to his team once the game comes around. We might not talk about kickers that often, but every time he lines up out there, we all know what is about to happen. He doesn’t have any offers yet, but he’s hungry to show what he can do at the bowl game and earn one here.

I’m bless to be given this opportunity and I am looking forward to giving the best performance possible for both of the teams and to represent Gulfport, Mississippi.
